    • Sounds like you have it figured out. I am a novice at recording and video, but I'll add that while you can do things in Reaper, you can also go the other direction, and export your desired audio file and use Apple's bundled 'iMovie' app to combine the audio file with the video file already on your phone.    Not quite as easy to get alignment to the exact frame you want, but here's a video I did (my own humble arrangement of Never Never Land for a vocalist to sing over) using my iphone to capture video, Logic to capture audio, and then combined together with iMovie in my phone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BM3N6yNiYI0   I wouldn't use that process if I was stacking more than one audio track or more than one video track (like @Philbo King 's project above), but for a simple 1 video/1 audio project, it worked for me.
    • Perhaps your instance & separate channel method is much more CPU-efficient than others who are likely using Module in one-channel, everything on all at once. Captain Obvious here?
    • What’s the most advanced feature-wise music production keyboard on the market?   I’d say Yamaha Genos 2 or Korg Pa4x.  I’m not interested in either regardless of the amazing things they do with a single key or button press because the goal has always been to play the piano keyboard - melody, bass line, harmony, rhythm and dynamics, etc.  I personally also prefer performing with other musicians (even if they need to be paid).     Those machines sound great and allow one person to sound like many - which is amazing and can be fulfilling and even lucrative (after you’ve paid it off) in the right hands.      Anyway, there are many arranger keyboards out there at many price points.  I imagine those that incorporate AI will be on the high end when first made available.  Conceptually very interesting stuff.  But in practice, I’m happy to have grown up without AI and I hope that generations that come after us will find many reasons to ignore that AI exists - especially regarding subjects and activities they love to do

    • Yes! And also big, good knobs on a large panel.       Well, in this case I'm almost sure there were problems with the video camera, because I noticed the issue while editing, much before uploading the video on YT. While I was shooting the video, I had set up the lights and the camera settings exactly like in previous videos, but the outcome was so bad that for the first time ever, I had to attempt corrections in the editing stage. It was only partially useful, and it added some artifacts to the image (you can notice that on my hands, for example). Btw, thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a try.
    • I always reduce video to 1024x720 before uploading to YT.  It will still get compressed but not horribly grainy.
