kpl1228
A very underrated album for vocals and keys and arrangements. Justin Havu
A very underrated album for sure. I think they had to follow up the monster that was Toto IV, but there was also the challenge of replacing Bobby Kimball. Unfortunately, the album bombed. Too bad, too, because it really is a great album. 1 Quote Hardware Yamaha MODX7, DX7, PSR-530, MX61/Korg TR-Rack, 01/W Pro X, Trinity Pro X, Karma/Ensoniq ESQ-1 Behringer DeepMind12, Model D, Odyssey, 2600/Arturia Keylab MKII 61 Software Studio One/V Collection 9/Korg Collection 4/Cherry Audio/UVI SonicPass/EW Composer Cloud/Omnisphere, Stylus RMX, Trilian/IK Total Studio 3.5 MAX/Roland Cloud

They kind of recreated the Mellotron with a different playing surface. A totally unique approach from a totally unique band (there is a plugin that recreates that sound FYI). So underappreciated IMO. (Side note: clearly the studio track is superimposed on the video above, that's not a live take) Listening to an old "fav" of mine, Eric Johnson's Ah Via Musicom...one of those rare albums where I like every song. Docbop
It's Saturday night so listening to some old favorites like Sly Store doing Que Sera, Sera. I remember Sly dated Doris Day for awhile so could be why he did this cover of the tune. That's one freaky image thinking about Doris and Sly gettin freaky, but if they were smiling all's good.
