    • I have 2 Pedaltrain Pros (don't ask . . .) and they come in at 32 inches.   Doing a quick layout check here, even with flat-head cables connecting the pedals, it would be an effort to get 20 compact Boss pedals on one Pedaltrain Pro. I can comfortably get 9 pedals side by side, with connecting cables.
    • I could start a club on YT, ask some very successful person on there to spare some group subscribers and sell some stickers and stuff. Having level zero monetizing approvability must be the first step to making 7k per mil views...   T
    • I felt it would be better to provide a link… so many to choose from and yes its for pianos   “FELT, CLOTH & LEATHER PARTS”   https://www.howardpianoindustries.com/felt-cloth-leather-parts/       PEACE _ _ _
    • Just imagining the ground noise and calculating power consumption sends my early morning head into a spin… And makes for chain optimization hell. Although the whole project feels like a fantastic idea!!!    Put them all in-line 🫣     PEACE _ _ _
    • I've been trying to figure out why I even care enough to post several times in this thread. I've watched a few of his videos and decided that while interesting, it's just not a good use of my time. So fine, I don't have to watch. I'm certainly not trying to take down Beato, who is one of the better things happening in the overall landscape of musicians trying to make a buck on YouTube.   I think it's just the same reaction I have whenever the mindless algorithms of social media platforms latch onto something good and blow something out of proportion. To me, it's like our value systems get grossly distorted and I feel the need to counteract that force. I have a similar reaction to Taylor Swift . . . yeah, she's good, but so are a lot of other women singer-songwriters. Yet I'm supposed to buy into the idea that Taylor is a hundred times better than these other very talented people. Let's lower her pedestal a bit and give other pop geniuses a bit more of our attention.   These thought processes always lead me back to Voltaire's admonition to "tend to your own garden." Becoming another cranky person screeching into the ceaseless winds of the internet is not going to make me happier.   That said, if Beato can interview Taylor, I probably will have to tune in.

    • This doesn't really affect me (yet) thanks to how and what I play.  But that said, I completely, 100% agree that these fixed split points are unacceptable.  The idea that the most expensive, capable, best sounding board of its kind, restricts players to preset split points is simply impossible for me to understand.  Is there any other board that does this?  I mean, I guess it'd be sort of OK if there were only one key that people play in.  But obviously that's not the case!
    • Yes, that will give you the same sound.
    • Can you manually push that drawbar in when percussion is engaged and get the same effect as a workaround? (non-Nord guy question)
