The league needs to hire some more creative refs, ones who can make slanted calls without making it look ridiculous. My guess is that the good ones (i.e. honest) quit. Jerry Jones and Al Davis should snatch up some basketball teams; they'll fit right in. Maybe Don King should get in on this action, too. Plain and simple, we got beat and got over it and moved on, but this NBA/Tampon/beat up Mag thread thing is a festering sore anymore, and actually quite boring compared to the spirited invigorating discussion we had here a couple pages ago. But then, in 30 minutes it's football season, and this will lingering thing will disappear like so many bad hangovers do...be patient we'll have great stuff to discuss and argue over soon enough. If those kind of things aren't really intended to be followed though on, fine. Me, Steve, and Jeff were mistaken. We actually figured Mag would post the photo very soon after the Lakers won it all, and that would be the end of the thread, rather than two months of excuses and additional whining from you guys.
