The author writes about Billy Preston playing a Lowrey and not a Hammond in the Beatles" Get Back sessions. The fact is that Billy is indeed playing a Hammond hooked up to the Leslie for the last few days when everything was recorded. The Lowery was used earlier in the sessions, and stayed in its place near George Harrison. But on Day 18 at Apple (Part 3 - 24:42), you can see them moving in a L100 and a Leslie 147 and installing the organ next to Billy"s Rhodes. Also, listen to the Beatles 'Let it Be Naked" mix of the Let it Be album (a must listen). You will hear the Hammond very well!
