  1. Like a slow blues version of Mad Dog, great to see them still rocking! Always missing the Lord when I hear them now (he was one of the corner stones in my musical "education" as a young aspiring keyboard player).
  2. That last one was a seriously close call!!!
  3. Looks like I just happened to buy another keyboard... ooops! Should arrive tomorrow, Thursday (Amazon)... My new travel companion and mother to my iPad! (And potentially future second tier...).
  4. The (potential) answer is already posted above.... "The pack "Wow Pads" seems to have something very close synth choir wise.. ." https://www.studiologic-music.com/products/numa_compact2x/sounds/ Listen to the preview for that pack, starting at 0.30, layer that sound with some type of EP eventually, and it should be in the same universe. No idea if further editing for more details is possible, and for FX, probably a bit of chorus will help.
  5. I ended up grabbing an SL73, dimensions are pretty much the same as the Vivo S1 (a tad deeper) with a handful of keys more still, and it's a TP/100LR bed which should be fine. A little bit heavier (11.5 vs 8.5 Kg.), but it will always go by car so not a problem. And obviously no sounds, which was not important here anyway. This will be the mother for my iPad Air M1, and when needed also for my MPC Key 37, while travelling, and in addition a possible second tier in other situations in the future. Moreover it saved me quite a bit of cash... The Vivo S1 is still a hot little number, but I can have a lot of fun for 1000€ .. Should I for some reason not feel comfortable with it (there seems to be split opinions about the action in general), I grabbed it on Amazon and can return it without any questions asked.
  6. Yes we also read the full posts so far posted...
  7. We'd love to hear what you make out of this in the end!
  8. Ohh and very slim too, I like it!!
  9. Looking for a portable board for leisure/vacation travel, but with a decent action, minimum 5 octaves and preferably not so much more, for portability. Sounds will be supplied by iPad and/or MPC, so a pure MIDI board will work fine too. I have found a Roland RD64 digital piano that looks perfect, a bit tough to find them here in Europe it seems, 64 keys is absolutely great though and I'll keep looking for one. Any other ideas?
  10. We want Moog, We want Moog, We want Moog! 🤣🤣🤣
  11. Or as ABBA so clearly and simple expresses it; "Money, money money...."..
  12. They're both rallying price wise, I had that D-05 2-3 years ago and I kinda wish I'd kept on to it looking at the prices today (too small interface for me though, sounded great but I couldn't use it really). Seems you're right about the sound packs though, download from their website, there's a prelisten audio player too, and the pack "Wow Pads" seems to have something very close synth choir wise.. . https://www.studiologic-music.com/products/numa_compact2x/sounds/
  13. Would'nt it be possible to combine like an airy kind of EP with some synth stringpad/choir sound and just embed it in reverb, that'd give the function of that sound? Else, a JV1010 ? I'd be surprised of it doesn't have something really close to that sound! GM Patch #55 (11:32) and probably even better combined with some airy FM EP patch from the Numa...
  14. This is Trevor Horn's official Diploma, "Music Producer with the competence of creating and producing music reaching the global billboards", and, it's also the first video ever played on MTV!
  15. South Park - Prehistoric Ice Man from 1996 Listening to Ace Of Base
  16. "If it's on the internet it has to be true, right...."
  17. I am huge on everything music, hobby, passion, work (pro audio), though I don't think I've ever used that search word... Maybe back in 1995/96 when I started using the internet possibly, before understanding how a search engine works.
  18. Yeahhh more Moog to the people, let's hope InMusic takes this legacy to a good place and makes sure they're not getting stuck in the pretentious overpriced segment only!
  19. Auto-tune is industry standard, and if it's done with competence just to fix up tiny things, you won't hear it.
