  1. Problem is with chops is the have a terrible resale value. Even Bill Beer chops. The guys that I know are very wary of taking them on because its tough to resell them. As a gigging instrument they are fine.
  2. I don't think it's too slick. I just think there is something too perfect about the backgrounds. I have seen these guys live and the band is top notch, don't get me wrong but I suspect the vocals have been altered.
  3. I watched all the tunes on this new episode Glenn Tilbrook has a killer voice. The band is on point as usual. Brian Dunn is a monster drummer. I suspect Daryl struggles with some of the keys and his voice seems a little off. The song Tempted seems off and weird also. It’s Glenn’s song but Paul Carrack really made that tune. I also suspect there is some auto tune going on with vocals. That Roland sounds freakin horrible also. Black Coffee in Bed is a Killer tune. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4uy-2RTdXw But check out Tempted here. It sounds strange: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wV09rq5CzDw
  4. Problem is the Bills have a terrible schedule ahead of them and might not make the playoffs and I am a big fan but seeing other teams like Miami and even Detroit makes me worried.
  5. That's where the market is now for sales, not the rock or jazz bands for the most part.
  6. Those boards were cool. I had an S-90 and S-90 XS. Man they were cool. I never had the ES model. I think that came out in 2005.
  7. I think part of it is performing musicians like us are becoming a thing of the past...
  8. He can play but there are some gospel guys that are out of this world also. That is where the Hammond market is now, the churches.
  9. Saw them last year. It was great. I wish Cornelius Bumpus was still a live and Tiran Porter came back. I guess he was concerned about new material and backed off the last tour before this one. I still think they sound good though. They have been through a lot with former members passing on.
  10. I don't know bands are like teams sports to me, especially in a small market.
  11. CC is very underrated and seems like a nice guy. That Rick Beato interview posted is awesome.
  12. People should look at the top guys in churches. Gospel players are at a different level and I have seen it while tagging along on service calls from a couple of master techs I know.
  13. I play it one handed. Also the piano parts I alternate an Am chord in there for color.
  14. I understand that but just because someone post's something doesn't mean we have to like it, just like the Hiromi videos that seem to be posted here every 3 to 4 months. The thing with forums like this if your a message board junkie your will eventually open yourself up to some form of conflict.
  15. That forum is still alive also. I post over there once in awhile also.
  16. True this stuff started back in Harmony Central days with the first Nords and CX-3 in 2001.
  17. You realize they are two different companies? and no way an XK5 gets smoked by a Mojo.
