  1. Yeah I missed him last night so maybe this weekend I will see him Moe. I am sure he can fix me up. One of the tires on the top motor stack looks messed up also.
  2. Your knowledge is good too from what I have seen. He just called me and I missed the call. Damn! LOL.
  3. I live near him which is nice. I don't trust the other guys because everyone claims to be a tech nowadays it seems.
  4. Well I put a Ferro Fluid Hammond Driver in there for the horn with adapater plate and it fits wierd but is secure. That was the original problem. I am getting a crackling sound when I turn it up. Could be the amp someone said? The 430 Resistor? I am not really a tech myself so I have learn from other people. I can take Leslies apart and put them back together but can not trouble shoot real well.
  5. That's cool. Actually a pretty well known tech is going to help me with a Leslie 145 soon named Sal Azzarelli.
  6. Look at his client list: http://bborgan.com/client-list/
  7. When I saw him it was a different looking chop in a case with handles and Art Neville had the same thing. Maybe Bill Brown did it I am not sure?
  8. I wonder what chop Chester Thompson and Art Neville use. I thought it was a C-3?
  9. I have chance to pick up a C-3 and 147 that someone rewired. I could get the pair cheap from a buddy but I would want the orginal 147 amp plus the organ needs some work. Right now he is using a Peavy head on it. I don't think its worth it. It is not that protable and the welded legs on the organ and heavy as shit. The person that modded it really did not know what they were doing.
  10. Oh yes the A-102. We had a mint one in the shop and it sold!
  11. Seems like most guys will chop A-100's because of the ease of it. Funny thing is it never lowers the weight of the organ that much.
  12. How many of you have gigged with Hammond chops? What was it like? Who did the modifications? Just curious to see your experiences were or are like.
  13. Stan a Model D???? Wow that is heavy with two tone generators. That must have been fun.
  14. Who drew the Joker Avatar? Never seen that one?
  15. I played for a Regan appearance in 1984 in HS. The secret service came in and said this is what you are to play and no deviations from the score for Hail to the Chief. They took all the gear apart including the fake rifles the color guard was using to look for weapons and left everything in the band room on the floor.
  16. I had a 3rd floor upstairs dinning hall gig last Saturday. One of the worst I have dealt with. First of all it was college with a receiving dock and no steps to get on the dock. We had to handle the gear so many times. Then It was an elevator that hardly worked. We then had to take our gear down a long hallway with carts that had wheels froze up to the stage in a dinning room. Then we had to argue with the stupid people that wanted to leave their power point presentation plugged in to where I had to set up my rig.
