JpScoey
I thought, due to the inspired quote by Cygnus on midijr's thread "What a waste...etc", ("orchesras and rock bands go together like peanut butter and squid") ... it might be an idea to have nominations for the most amusing / incisive quote of the week? - After all, there are so many classics regularly posted on this forum . Pick out your favourites guys! John. some stuff on myspace Nord: StageEX-88, Electro2-73, Hammond: XK-1, Yamaha: XS7 Korg: M3-73 EXpanded, M50-88, X50, Roland: Juno D, Kurzweil: K2000vp. Joe Muscara
Is it okay if some are funny such as the above, and some are not? I'd say the one in my sig by Steve Nathan is a keeper. Once in a while, someone will say something in a thread and someone else will say something like, "nominated for quote of the week." You might search for that, or quote of the day or quote of the year and collect them here to get things really started. "I'm so crazy, I don't know this is impossible! JpScoey
Is it okay if some are funny such as the above, and some are not? As I said... anything (whether it be stupid typos, incisive or humourous comments / rebuffals - WHATEVER )!!! Aside from all the serious stuff you can learn on this forum, it's always good to have a bit of a chuckle every now-&-again, yeh? BluesKeys
Laws of Band Physics - The length of time it takes to set up the band is directly proportional to the length of time you have to set up the band. Or as I have observed the length of time it takes to set up the entire band is equal to the time it takes the drummer to set up. Or reversed the time it takes to break down and load out at the end of the night is equal to the time it takes for a drummer to break down.
