  1. NEED HELP. This is my first post in this thread. Excuse me if this has been addressed before. I am trying to help my wife with file management of her pics using iphoto on mac. I know it is not the best program, but it is what we are using now. She has uploaded albums she has created in iphoto to facebook. What we have discovered is that when she tries to delete a pic inside her original iphoto library that she no longer wants in that library, if that pic has been uploaded into a facebook album (that she wants to keep), it warns you it will be deleted from the facebook album too, not just the library in iphoto. Her iphoto library is huge and we have learned to create new library. (option button pressed as iphoto is opened) Here is my question. If you create a new library (with a new name)for new iphoto pics, then you start creating albums within that new library for facebook and login to facebook from that new library, do you lose the other albums from the first library from facebook. In other words, will facebook only retain albums from one library. Can facebook keep albums from multible libraries that are connected to the same facebook page/person. Thanks. (in the future we may try to export pics then upload to be free of iphoto) Thanks for any help you can give.
  2. Connecting with others is good here. Also meeting other runners on your level is a blast. It puts you on in contact with a whole new cross section of people you would have never meet otherwise. You may have some running clubs in your area that run maybe once a week to get a long run in, often to train for a run in the future or, just to run and stay motivated, depending on the club. All ages and levels are usually found in these clubs so you will find others who will be at your level. If you live in the states.. http://usafit.com/
  3. these may help. http://www.runnersworld.com/workouts/what-exactly-tempo-run http://www.runnersworld.com/running-tips/run-run-repeat
  4. Good info on the link below. Runnerworld web site is a wonderful resource. Some key things to remember as you increase your level of intensity, is injury prevention. Alot of info on their web site about that. One thought that has helped me, is to cross train with a bike. Helps me get a good workout when I don't always feel like running. Also, add weight training to strengthen muscles. Again, lots of good info on runners world web site about that. They have videos, doctors giving tips, etc. www.runnersworld.com/race-training/solving-5k-puzzle?page=single
  5. Stepay, hope the knee heals quickly. How did you injure it. Is it a running related injury. Sorry if you posted about it in an earlier and I missed reading it. (I'm training for a few upcoming events myself, just curious)
  6. Dave: did your Halix Rigidus condition come from too much mileage you think. I with you on the bike idea. A good cross training sport to keep the cardio going. I mix up running and biking also. Phred: Good time on your 5k. I am focusing on 5ks, not really trying marathons at this point. This time of year there are multiple 5ks each weekend to choose from. Also, thoughts and prayers out to the folks in Boston.
  7. Heard about a organization of bald men (for real) years ago. They had a motto that went something like this: No plugs, No Drugs, Or Rugs. Bald is beautiful.
