Hey Halljams (I know who you are, no need to post under that anonymous name! ;) ) I'm on an incredibly slow dial-up so I thought I'd try the webpage and give you some feedback. It loads slowly. The front page looks good, I like the artwork, but being so big it is really annoying (for dial-up) that there isnt actually anything there except the 'enter' button. I'd much rather be taken directly to the directory page. I didnt think there was a need for it to open in a new window either. Once in, I'm again impressed with artwork. Catching colors, creative lettering, simple but effective layout. The loading time inbetween pages in minimal - good job. If I get a chance later I'll come back and check out the music. John Scotsman

Hey guys. We were just messing around a few nights ago, and it turned into an alright song. We only had one mic and time for a couple of takes so excuse the poor quality and screw-ups (i.e. ending) Procella - Stars Let me know what you think!

I'm not undercover BTW, it's my halloween costume. :D I'm curious exactly how fast your connection is, slower than 56? and what resolution your monitor is set at. We decided to target between 100ish and up on the connection speed and resolutions between 800x600 up to 1152. The only reason the first opening page stays up is because there is an embedded audio track that should open with it that will play for 30 seconds as you browse the other pages. It may not have loaded at all if your connection was too slow. Anyway thanks for checking it out. j

hola gus! dint see your post: centenial - great vocals, not my cup of tea (but neither is half of what we do =), but very nicely produced and composed there, i like the 80s echo synth stuff, great overall sound. nice mix indeed. Dejate Ama - recommend getting this one heard anytime other than right after 'centenial' cause of it's similar properties =) - but again, nice composition/mix/sound. i really do like the middle and end "talk" sections - man i wish i could speak spanish =p the bells intro is nice too. Fuerade Este Mundo - much more interesting to me cause of the rythm section. i like the progressions more as well. nice resolve into the chorus, yeah i like this man. still very synth for my wanna be funk/rock ears, but rich and balanced and all that good jazz. (but... must... click... on... track... named... El Factor Animal!!!) okay, i'm a good boy hanging in there =) - middle break, is good, like the choices there, fits well. ah nice guitar finish there too. hehe, the animal factor - okay i see this on the dance floor, again the voice and synth work really well together, some interesting bass choices there, wish you had a real set drummer but understand the context here. nice mix there man, some fun stereophonics at end, good stuff as usual gus. wish i knew what was being said in the lyrics, cause it sure sounds sweet. - - - hey guitplayer! - you show off =) serious, nice stuff there man as usual, you trickster. hehe i like the "clap". really sweet lyrical work there on the strings man, imho. lots of nice things i there - only thing i could ask for is about 10bpm more, think it would tighten up on the rythm section even better, but appreciate the "trickster" is laying down some notes there and it might not be so easy =) not that this is. much enjoyed.

Elton/HJ ;) My modem is a 56 but the connection speed is rarely above 44kbps. Monitor resolution is set to 1024 x 768. The front page makes sense now, but I didnt hear any music. I'm in a rural area and the phonelines are notoriously bad. You cant even get broadband/cable etc here, dial-up is the only option! Things are OK here, its been good spending time with my family. Thanks for asking. I'll hopefully be musically productive again very soon. I'm really keen to listen and I promise I will when I can, you too Super 8 & Mike. I bet there's hours of great music in this thread, I just wish I didnt have to wait 20 minutes for each song! I'm especially curious to hear what the regulars like schmee & guitplayer are posting. One day...

Just checked out your site... FRACTALS! :thu: Cool... I'm listening to... errr... Track 1. Nice name. :D But it's a cool song. Well produced, complex but funky. I dig all the "merges" into different vibes... it just "rolls along"... Nice mix. guitplayer

I'm still "guitplayer"!

Here's another one for your listening pleasure: It's called "Smoke Crack and Call Me" you can find it on: this page . It's based on the true story of a dude who smokes crack (I think) and leaves a message on my voice mail. The moral of the story is to SAY NO TO DRUGS! How positive is that? I bought a old 335 copy off ebay the other day and have been playing it constantly.I hardly ever play guitar anymore. I've been so into recording and all that. Last night i was over on the guitar forum sniffing around and heard a tune of Steve Leblanc's. The guy plays great guitar and keys and sings like a bird etc. Anyway i got to thinking that that guy plays all the time, he always puts up these jam tunes and sounds like he has a gas when he plays! Why don't i do that any more? So today i spent on this tune and highlighted my new 335 in the solos(strat in the head). Just drum loops and me. Though i don't quite reach the freedom and spontinaity Steve does, i thank him for the inspiration. :thu: NEW335

G.O.R. :thu: Good stuff maynards... The wus is closer to y'all now. Halljams, Damn cool my friend. Great tone from that 335. Never could tell you ain't played in a while. :D I'm gonna post a tune from my son's band, Dead Zero. Here's PAIN from a couple of years ago. I found it on my hard drive tonight. They are so much smoother & more solid now than then...I gotta dig up a copy of a song from their newer demo cd.
