Lou Gehrig Charles
This must be the version where we are supposed to fear the reaper? FWIW, the version I learned has the cowbell as a G. I always wondered if that was "correct".

MathOfInsects
Is this from one of those online tab sites? I mean yeah, I guess the upper structure is right, but it completely leaves out the root each time. Plus Bar 33 is major but should be minor. Typical. Quote Now out! What was the reason they chose the name of a famous singer to be the name for the fictional producer? Apparently the SNL writers sent out an intern to get the original album CD, but he came back with a greatest hits compilation. The "producer" listed on the GH was someone named Bruce Dickenson, who worked at the label and got producer credit for the collection. He was never in the studio for any of the material, just organized the compilation for the label. That's why they used that name. They didn't know any different. El Lobo
Superb transcription!!! I don"t think it"s in the right key tho,,, A good percussionist can play cowbell in any key. Not like those wannabes who will only play a cowbell with a transpose button.I only use the transpose button on my cowbell when they call a tune in some weird key like Eb. I can play cowbell in most keys without transposing. But sometimes at the performance they call a key that's a half a step lower than we did it in rehearsal. That's when I use the transpose button. If I have the cowbell part figured out in one key, it's safer to transpose than try to play in the new key and mess up. Double SNAFU there. Obviously not a single Maiden fan among the cast or crew, or they would have put the kibosh on that name. Not only that, but they did only the most minimal of homework and assumed the band's primary lead singer, Eric Bloom, was the singer on "Reaper".... That's why "Bruce" addresses him was "Eric". But it wasn't Eric Bloom on that song... It was Buck Dharma. And at one point they addressed the drummer as "Bobby", probably they thought that the drummer in 2000 (Bobby Rondinelli) was the drummer back in 1976.
