A Trio version of the Bernice Petkere standard, "Close your eyes". One of my favorite tunes to play.

This was on an extremely bright and challenging to play, Yamaha C3. In a mainly R&R studio that had never recorded Jazz before - so the sound was not quite Jazz friendly. But still a good take, feel and nice interplay within the trio.

Some good piano playing there, Dave! Indeed the piano sounds a bit bright, but the chords have nice low frequency component interplay and the Yamaha has nice sound components nevertheless. It is tuned in a modernistic way that I personally not like, without nicely decaying sound. Bass and drum sound alright, could be a tiny bit tighter, though..

Some really nice jazz from two coasts, Dave and Al! I just wish I could provide something equally as cool from the third/Gulf coast. I'm working on it. I'll see you cats in 20 years or so. ;)

I recently listened to some rehearsal recordings from my home studio and thought this one was post worthy. The song is Dewey Square by Charlie Parker. I hope you like it.

Great! You got it, I'm still looking for it.

I wrote this little melody on banjo and have been playing it for a while, yesterday I decided to try and structure it and record it, just to give myself something to work with. Here's the result! First time I've ever played any percussion on a recording, its definitely not perfect, but its more of an exercise in mixing and recording techniques than anything.

Really cool, Scott. I liked that! :thu:

Here's a couple of older clips. Sloppy (over)playing but a fun live rendition of one of my tunes.

This is the VL1 with Busch's Rhodes sound on the Kronos:

This one is a so what except with Busch's Rhodes. The solo starts at 2:12 in.

I think this was one of the first times I used this Rhodes, I really liked the way it sounded.

Finally my Sequential Pro One with breath control. Only listen to this after you are in an altered state:

Whoa Aron, In the Groove was a seriously bad-ass jam! That Rhodes patch sounds awesome... :thu:

One word. Busch. He is probably the best synth programmer I have encountered for my style of music. His Tenor Sax patch on the VL1 is legendary. It's not only the sound but the response. Not sure if he knows how to create a bad patch.

Thanks Lindaru.

You'll probably like the rest of what we do. The band is Dream Eternal Bliss. We're on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon MP3, and at CDbaby.com. My other main keys on our EP include the Korg Wavestation AD, Roland XV-3080, and my laptop using a lot of Rob Papen's Blue II and some stuff from the Arturia V-Collection.

Thank you! My $0.17 or so of that, once paid to the band in six months, will help fund a cup of something at Starbucks! Yes, the rock star life! :-) Seriously, that's appreciated.

I know. 99 cents with a lot of it going to Amazon is not much.

My hope is that folks coming over will hear it and buy it, too, and tell their friends, and they will buy it, too . . . and so it goes.

I really think you should submit your video to some local television station to be featured (not sure how you would go about that). In Portland we had cable access we could get music videos aired on and it did help at the time.

I moved entirely off of You Tube after having false copyright claims thrown on me and then finding out that if we wanted to be searchable, we would have to pay $9.99 a month when they went to their new service last year.

I am on Daily Motion. You can choose through some of my older videos to get some of our music.

Four of them are right there on the main page, "Atlantis", "Warp Dimension", "Vibosity" and "Electrascension". There are older ones, too, if you click "more".

Thanks!

Well, I threw another tune up on Soundcloud. I'm still no Jazzer, but I don't think anyone will deem this another Country tune in need of lyrics

Apologies for any remaining (unintended) distortion.
