S_Gould
Friday is the 2nd day of my lady's (4 day) birthday weekend, so my time is not my own. Fortunately she's having a "girls gathering" with her sisters, so I should be able to sneak into the studio and log in with y'all. ...pray for me ð
CowboyNQ
Great initiative Joe and Sam! I'm a lizard drinking on Saturday with footy training back on and band catch up in the afternoon. But I hope to be able to drop in for a bit somewhere in that wide open window you are generously creating. Enjoyed the last two immensely. SamuelBLupowitz
Glad it's all happening! I'll be popping in and out; spent the morning painting a room in the new house and will be spending much of the afternoon doing some last-minute packing before the movers come for the furniture tomorrow. See you all in a bit! I'll repost the link momentarily. Quote Samuel B. Lupowitz Musician. Songwriter. Food Enthusiast. Bad Pun Aficionado. SamuelBLupowitz
Here's the login info again! We'll use the following Zoom meeting link: https://cornell.zoom.us/j/94185593517 or you can enter the meeting ID 941 8559 3517 upon firing up Zoom. You will need a password to enter because bots like to scrape the internet for open Zoom meeting links and ruin everyone's day. The password is "clonk" with a capital C and a zero in place of the letter o. I will repost this on Friday. I agree, the wide timeframe will mean we could miss each other -- we're going to try this particular experiment and see how it goes for everyone. It's been nice to have a lot of us in one place, but it's been particularly tough for Europe and the Aussies (also the name of the new synth dance project I'll be starting if I can't get together with other musicians soon). And as many of you have learned by now through work or other commitments, the more people there are in these videoconferences, the more unwieldy and less personal they can get, so we'll see how it goes this time. Doerfler
in the never ending world of computer problems, for some reason Zoom did not like my Logitech camera today. Did get to say hello to Jake, Tom, and Justin via audio only (apparently my Beecaster is on Zoom's OK list). I have other options (monitors with built in cameras) should I need to take another road. Just another PIA to end my day.

Steve Nathan
This was tres cool. I hung out for 30 minutes or so earlier today, and just putting faces to names was worth it. Markyboard
That was very enjoyable once again. Thanks Sam and Joe. I liked getting a quick glimpse of Scott"s studio but wish we could have gotten more time with that. I"m seeing little pieces of folks setups but maybe we can dedicate one of these hangs or at least feature a few live tours? Just a thought. xKnuckles
It was great virtually seeing some of you again. Scott I actually thought your studio was one of those zoom backdrops! My jaw did drop when you suddenly walked into it and started showing us around... The strangest part was that it was evening for me and afternoon for everyone else, so I felt like the heaviest drinker in the group... (a feeling which I have never experienced before! ) Seeing two Theo's on the list confused me for a while.... I wondered if he had electronically cloned himself in order to appear in stereo.... Great to put more faces to names and hear the various accents... Thanks again Joe and Sam for organising it. Quote "Turn your fingers into a dust rag and keep them keys clean!" Synthaholic
So sorry, didn't make it as we had installer here for Solar Panels and it all got too hard Did you use SunRun? (Edit to add: oops - didn"t notice that you were in Australia. I don"t believe SunRun is there yet, but maybe?) Sorry I didn"t make the hang. Wifey broke an ankle. It"s very bad. Had surgery on Thursday, pins and plates. She has very soft bones due to RA. So it"s also difficult for her to even use crutches. She"s using a knee scooter, somewhat successfully. marino
Urgh, I missed it again. Been very busy with exams and school meetings which lasted 12 times more than expected, a slight health nuisance on Friday night, and on top of all this I lost my ATM card... spent all Saturday morning scouring every inch of the apartment and the neighborhood, then I gave up and reported the loss, etc.. not very interesting, but definitely time-consuming. I was looking forward to say hello. I also wanted to introduce a new baby from the music room... sorry again, next time.
lightbg
Many thanks to Sam and Joe for organizing and maintaining the latest hang. I made an appearance last night, and today after the SpaceX launch I decided to log on again, and much to my surprise I had a private audience with the Pope ( well, it was Bryce and me). I didn"t know he was a New Jersey native, but I don"t hold that against him. Needless to say MPN will be in great shape with him at the helm.
