mountainjammer
One son is getting a complete harmonica set. Another (guitar player) is getting a Pigtronix looper (deep!) and beat buddy which can be midi synced with the pigtronox. My keys are good for now so Im eagerly awaiting a Trio plus (bass, drum, looper) and Taylor gs mini koa - fantastic travel guitar.

MoodyBluesKeys
The piano (but the tree is a crystal one that is about 10" high, and illuminated from behind by a rotating LED light system). Takes less than 5 minutes to setup each year. I didn't put the other one out this year, my mother made it one year at church quite a number of years ago, a decorated pine cone with little strings of tinsel, tiny ornaments - just a beautiful expression of love. This is my most favorite memento of her. It is staying in it's box this year to be sure it isn't damaged (by one or the other of the cats). LOVE Mark Zeger's answer. Lee T
Wife bought me an upgrade to Superior Drummer 3 before the upgrade price expires at the end of the year. Spectacular piece of software. We also, after 9 months of hassle, signed the lease on Friday for a business we've bought so the stress starts now So many drummers, so little time. Marzzz
Ultimate studio accessory: dB That will do wonders for your productivity!! While we are on the subject, my tree (18" tall, sitting on a hallway table, with lights(!)) will have a decent entry-level electronic drum set (probably the Alesis Nitro Mesh) for my wife. Every time I drag her into a music store, she gets behind a set and wails away..!

David Emm
Me, if I go overboard on the rumulated egg nog. Actually, my sister gave me a backup wired CME Xkey 37, as they are out of production. I find it very useful, so that's one superior stocking stuffer. Righteous! One friend sent me a nice book and a 1 TB USB drive. He said "What are you going to put on the drive?" I said "Porno from Borneo, just like you, you perv!" Another sent me a Bender mouse pad from Matt Groening's "Futurama," stating ANYTHING LESS THAN IMMORTALITY IS A WASTE OF TIME. How can I not appreciate a robot who drinks and belches fire? Two years back, yet another knew my current USB interface was a rabbit pill, so he sent me a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. That was a golden gift, because its been 100% stable from Day 1. The best thing under the tree is gifts from people who approve of you, despite your disquieting metaphors and synth FWONK!s. “Drugs at our age? You don’t have to take them forever. dglcomp
A vintageish CD player to go with my all in one unit, a Technics SL-PJ25. Just moved and the old Sony cd changer won't fit in the new TV cabinet. Went for that particular model as it is the one that would have been could have been purchased with the all-in-one system originally (a Technics SA-X900L), although when my Grandad brought it he didn't see the point of it. hardware
My custom Mixers made to route external hardware synths and modules, and a separate FX Mixer that accepts the routings and adds Strymon Pedals to the External Hardware as well as ASIO singnals. Sounds fantastic and every parameter is MIDI Controlled by the Physis K4. Last nights gig at the Ugly Sweater event was so much fun. marino
I already bought myself a deluxe gift a few weeks ago: A Behringer Model D. Since I had a real Mini at home with the original oscillator bank (which the Behringer claims to replicate), it was a perfect time to play them side by side. I'm having great fun with the B. Other than this, there will be the usual exchange of small things with friends...
Stokely
Probably some software, which will be a little empty when it comes to stuff in a box under a tree I am considering a Nord electro from proaudiostar (they have made a great deal for a new one when I asked), but it's quite a bit more than I typically spend on a keyboard. Debating whether my reduced live schedule justifies it Considering a mojo instead but the lack of synths/strings and really nice pianos leans me toward the nord. I wish I could combine the things I like from both
Sospiri
A dose of 'flu for both of us this year has really crippled what little we do for Christmas in our old age when the major Greek festival is Easter. Jan wanted a necklace to match a bracelet I bought her a couple years ago. I gather I have at least two smaller presents, one of which is a book about J.S. Bach. That suits me fine as we don't have animals or visiting children and we're quite content to leave all the hullabaloo to others. I admit that we're pretty boring!
