Just yesterday I was dropping her off at kindergarten. Then just a few days ago I was taking her to piano lessons. Now here she is ready for college. sigh....

Somehow I managed not to fold, staple, or mutilate any boys during her high school years ;)

Congrats! Life is funny isn't it? All those things those old guys told us about it going by too fast turned out to be true.

My two little boys aren't so little anymore either. It's an odd feeling - pride, satisfaction - but it feels like a father's job is never over.

What a cutie! (She's too young for my son, to put things in proper perspective )

I think any parent who manages to escort a child through the high school years without resulting in murder or mayhem has done remarkably well. Given that she thinks keytars are cool, you've done even better than that!

So, by the picture I assume she's going to be riding the rails to college? I hope she can sing some blues. Maybe she can get some of those fingerless gloves so she looks in place as she stands close to the trash can fire for warmth. :)

I'm looking forward to that like a tax audit or a root canal... .

I had a root canal on Monday...it's easier than being the parent of a teenager, although pharmacuticals assist with both. However, it gets better when then become college students.

Dave,

Good for you, man. I bet she loves her race car driving, rock and roll daddy! :rawk:

My little girl is 18 months - and she's already manipulating me! :)

Regards,

Joe

My son's going to be off the college soon too...So looks like we have several kids here at the same age. :thu: The only thing I don't know is if he's going to be local or will leave town. Stressing the wife out...

Au contraire my friend.

My boys are 21 and 18. If I told you what was going in MY world, your hair would first turn white, then fall out. I love them. But if they weren't mine...

Time to call my father again.

Let's see you put a picture up of your daughter on the web to a bunch of people you really don't know. Not a good idea.

Sorry, man but i have to agree with this. Not a good idea at all. (Congratulations though)

She's probably already done that herself.
