  1. That was the good old days where a program could be on a single floppy disk. I was never much into sequencing, but one program I used a lot was a program called Super Librarian. It was a gem for organizing and storing my presets. And I also learned quit a bit about MIDI programming back then. Steinberg also made a Editor program for my D50 and M1 I spent quite some time with. I still have a box with old floppy disks, but my Atari and monitor went to recycling 10 years ago, it had som sticking keys, thrown it apart to fix, but gave up.
  2. This video was postet at the NUF, not too bad. Still some shrill at the top in my opinion.
  3. Sound is a bit thin in my headphones. But that might be possible to adjust with the onboard EQ. Wondering if it bark more, as the size of the program has increased so much. That is my biggest complaints against the previous samples.
  4. - and the B211 is my new favorite 👍
  5. Downloaded it, but will wait to tomorrow to activate it ( Payday - yeah ! ), and start out with a free test periode and see if it works with my hardware.
  6. Remember that if imported from US, you will need both a frequency and a voltage transformer. A frequency converter from 50 to 60 cycles might be the expensive part of it.
  7. I think it is a ok price for an M3 here in Europe, but it might vary from country to country. I have seen them around a bit higher priced where I live ( Denmark). My first Hammond was an M100, but I wished back then that I had bought an M3 instead because of the keys. When I later bought a A100, I often missed the more simple sound from the spinet, it had less body, but could scream trough the guitar wall. A good tube Leslie is 80 % of the full experience and sound, but a Ventilator through some decent amplification could come close.
  8. Remember as the poster told this is a 17 year old video. Which other brands made a good clone back then ? When listening to my old Nord C1 today (released in 2007) , even with a Vent, I have to say both Nord and the competitors have come a long way.
  9. Here is the settings in VB3. No ramp, but options for 147, 122, a Marshal Stack and direct out.
  10. Not quite zombi thread yet, but my band wants to do this version of the song. Wondering if I will be able to do the slapping on my Mojo 61 …. 🤔 I have to find my old C1 from the closet and do some practicing.
  11. Yup, got one of those Crumar Performer string/brass machines back in the days to replace my dead Elka Rhapsody. But they have nothing with today’s Crumar brand in common, the new Crumar have just adopted the old factorys name - except todays GSI/Crumar have re-released the old Performer as an plugin.
  12. https://www.hudebnicentrum.cz/hammond-xk-4_z32038/ Shows another price now, I used the short text google found. 59.900czt (Chezk) , but preorder and final price might differ a lot.
  13. Saw a preorder ad - $2900 UGH 🤐
  14. I think it is wery well played, but I have no doubt he could play that kind of music very well. But most of all, I’m digging the sound of the Vintage Vibe, it is a nice place between Rhodes and Wurlitzer with a lovely warm tone.
  15. It might have been me that wrote and asked about them. I bought a pair, but didn’t think they worked as advertised. Way to small and difficult to get into my ears. Forget abou adjusting them after you have squeezed them into your ears. I gave up, and use some regular earplugs when needed.
  16. Not too bad on my Mojo 61. After all, and as the ReadMe file explains, the Mojo was designed for organ in mind, but it works 👍 Accidentally I did the update from my tiny phone screen, so I hit the factory reset 😒 But luckily, somewhere I have screenshots of my organ and Rhodes settings.
  17. The variation button on the amp sim sounds really nice.
  18. A used Uno Synth Pro if you can find it. But she wont have it for herself after you have heard it 😆 But compact, wonderful analog sound, great keys, nice effects, and with presets. The editing is a bit convoluted on it. Marino did a run on it in the Gearlab forum.
  19. Perhaps Syntaur, but I do not know which springs. I saw they had a forum, perhaps you can find an answer there. I think @AnotherScott have mention it some years ago. https://syntaur.com/searchInv.php?itemName=Springs
  20. I have never used arpeggiator together with a band other than at an intro. It is impossible to control my drummer with a masterclock 😂 But the opportunity to control the tempo manually by tapping with a foot control seems to be a clever solution, except it was shown by using the new 3 pedals with some kind of a 5 pin Din connector. Hopefully it might be possible with a cheap standard sustainpedal in a configuration, perhaps alternative to the pump effect.
  21. One thing to check if you are going after a used one. Check the Jack connectors on the backside. Two on mine are broken, and it is the only thing that is holding the mainboard in place. I will take mine home from rehearsal this weekend and see if I can get some replacement connectors. Neutric have some connectors that might fit. Still plastic ( and electrical floating) , but one model with metal nut that’s look a bit stronger. And yes, just joined a second band, and have started thinking about getting one Mojo more, and this time I will look after one with built in power supply. That PSU connector on the old one is a bit unreliable. Other than that, love my Mojo61, and have found the setting I prefer.
  22. Got one og this I will try to mount into my Leslie and see if can get the output tubes to sing and the Leslie to shine on a lower volume.
  23. I am playing it more like this version. I have a string like pad below I can turn up or down with my control pedal, and am also giving the pad some slow flanger. Hammond on the last solo.
