David Emm
15 degrees to the right and that could have been a "Weird" Al video. Excellent! Worst insider joke of the whole thing: The ARP 2500 emitting a Rhodes ROMpler sound. Hah. o0Ampy0o
15 degrees to the right and that could have been a "Weird" Al video. Excellent! Worst insider joke of the whole thing: The ARP 2500 emitting a Rhodes ROMpler sound. Hah. Larry Goldings could be a comedian. Weird Al is similar to Rich Little in that they can do their thing (parody and impressionism respectively) but neither are very funny outside of it, like when they are themselves as guests on talk shows for instance. Weird Al takes one joke and makes a video out of it. In contrast, LG is constantly delivering humor using the parody of a film as the vehicle in this case. He is ON while Weird Al is on autopilot. You can pretty much predict how Weird Al would approach a subject. Larry Goldings is full of surprises. I"d say '15 degrees and that could have been a Peter Sellers bit.' I realize Sellers may be associated with physical humor but I see the two share a depth of humor capable of surprising us. I consider LG"s songs in the key of T ;-) to be better than anything a comedian or late night show came up with during that period of history. Not only is it funny, the song snippets are quite good. With his lyrics the combination is surprising and I believe it makes it more hilarious.

Reezekeys
Larry G is like Dizzy Gillespie in his capacity to both entertain and enlighten with his killer talents.
