Anyway boys, the game is about more than just the referee! On thier performance, England didn't deserve to win. Can't wait for tonights game, should brighten up a miserably cold & wet "summer's" day! Too bad for Sweden, the team played very well and missed quite a couple of good chances, like the Dutch team missed a couple too. In a way I feel bad about it, to see the desillusion on the Swedish faces, but it's all in the game. Penalties suck, but OTOH the Dutch have lost four times on penalties Come and get your beer bro! Holland Sweden should have been much livelier than that. Mats, if Larsson had been wearing a Celtic shirt in extra time he would have scored instead of hitting the crossbar. Isn't it funny how it's mostly the important players who miss the penalties! Beckham, Cocu & Mjellberg - all wearing the captains arm band when they failed to score. Was Rui Costa captain too? Plus Ibrahimovic, a star striker, it always happens! It's good to see that all the defensive minded teams are out. Here's hoping for some good exciting semi-finals! Czech's to win the lot. Why are they underdogs by the way? They got to the final in 96 and won the under 21 tournament in 2000. That kinda tells me they're gonna be good. Even so, he doesn't deserve the treatment he's had from fans and the opportunistic way some papers dealt with the issue.
