BluMunk
http://natevenet.com/misc/blonderig.jpg Just finished a production of 'Legally Blonde.' PC3le6 as controller with an RD-700GX as the main keybed (and sample player for a few sound effects), both running into an Integra-7. I tried this gig with my little Peavey KB3 amp, and regretted it; going back to a solo Mackie SRM for the next one. I still haven't found a good solution for creating decent ambient sound (so others in the pit can hear me, but not too loud) as well as a personal monitor that ensures I can always hear myself play when the band gets kickin'. DanL
Couple shots of the rig I used for a show with my Pink Floyd tribute this past Saturday. Hammond SK1-73, Roland FA08, Moog Little Phatty, Novation Ultranova. On the rack is a Ventilator and a Behringer 6 channel mixer. In the rack is another Behringer 16 channel line mixer, a Furman power supply, and a graphic EQ that I'm not using with this configuration. Speakers are 2 EV ELX15P's running in stereo. I'm running a Boss SDD6 delay pedal on the Moog, used for a long ping pong delay effect on one of the songs. I used the small mixer on top of the rack to mix the sub output of the FA08, which was the line out for the samples used for sound effects, and the output of my line mixer in the rack, to feed the speakers. We ran the sub out into it's own DI so the FOH could control the level of the sound effects and to give them their own channels on the pro tools recording we did. http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj60/dan88z/Mobile%20Uploads/20150529_200441_zpsvsrtgckw.jpg http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj60/dan88z/Mobile%20Uploads/20150529_200428_zpsbd6fydvs.jpg http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj60/dan88z/Mobile%20Uploads/20150529_200452_zpsizbcxnle.jpg Shot from behind during the show. http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj60/dan88z/DSCN0745_zpsdkrirnoe.jpg One from the audience. http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj60/dan88z/IMG_2515_zpsfp7lxsz4.jpg Quote Live: Korg Kronos 2 88, Nord Electro 5d Nord Lead A1 Toys: Roland FA08, Novation Ultranova, Moog LP, Roland SP-404SX, Roland JX10,Emu MK6 www.bksband.com www.echoesrocks.com

Excellent, Dan I spotted the Boss Delay unit you were on your way to purchase after we had lunch last year. Hey DanL, what type of stand do you have the Novation and the Moog sitting on? Yes, that is in fact an Invisible Stand. There is one available now to purchase in the classified section. Surely Tony will autograph it for you. RudyS
My setup for my singer-songwriter gig: http://s17.postimg.org/bb85hhd1r/rig.jpg The PX5s and Electro really combine very well. I really like the easy setup. No midi. Pure fun. EDIT: forgot to mention my new K&M 18880 stand. I really like it. The boards are stacked close on top of each other, but because of the depth of the stand I can still see the screen of the PX5s. Not in picture: my K10 and small Phonic mixer are to the right of my bench. Quote Rudy

Adam C.
Here are a couple of pictures of 2 of my Synths that I set-up today for a gig that I'm going to be playing tomorrow night. are you endorsed by Roland? I think that I probably should be at this point. (Or at the very least I should maybe get a free T-shirt out of them or something.) I've owned tons of KORG's over the years, (M1, 01/W, Krome, etc.) as well as keyboards from just about every other manufacturer that you could possibly think of, (CASIO, YAMAHA, ENSONIQ, E-mu, KURZWEIL, HAMMOND, SEIKO, OBERHEIM, etc., etc...) but for some reason I'm definitely on a bit of a ROLAND kick at the moment, you're right. I didn't 'plan' it that way...it just sort of...happened, ya know? I definitely think that their equipment delivers a bang for the buck, that's for sure. In fact, if you want to see 'brand diversity', here's a picture of my Rig from exactly a year ago at the same venue: http://www.therpf.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=450181&d=1426146479
