    I have both the CK61 and the Vox, actually three of the latter, a 61 and two 73s on top of each other on that great stand. Love the Vox, as you can imagine. It’s an instrument indeed, that’s the best way to describe it. Love the CK61 too, for all it can do, but especially for noodling on the couch. It’s like an MacBook Air. And I’m getting a Grandstage X, which has the Vox sounds in a 88-keys weighted keyboard, with almost double the sonic content of the original Grandstage.

    Then again, you can get a Roland RD-88 with over 3000 Zenology sounds, MainStage integration and speakers for half the price.

    I love the new design. Great update too: - 25,5GB compressed (51GB full) compared to 19GB compressed (32GB full) in the OG - 700 sounds compared to 500 sounds - - new piano’s (including mono) and a new Tine I Early electric piano - way better control options - 20W compared to 30W power usage - Audio IN plus more FX, Unison, Analog Tone, Rhythm section, Chords progressions That’s a pretty sweet updated machine in my book. Will definitely get one.

    Some of the newer keyboards have an internal wall wart, simply taping the little bugger in the actual keyboard, so there’s that.

    Loved the YC, but the keys start going awry and loose over time. Lots of posts on that issue.

    Sound on Sound just did a review on the CK series. Conclusion: “I’ve nothing but praise for the CK61 and CK88. I’d buy one without hesitation if I were looking to invest in an honest all‑round stage keyboard.”

    I played it some time ago at Maene HQ. A much more human approach to a piano. Wonderful idea, wonderfully executed.

    I’m seeing some pretty low prices for a new Fantom 8 in Europe, at les than 3000 euros. Could there be an updated version at Namm?
