  1. I run everything you see off one wall jack with three other power strips connected. Been doing it for 25 years without any type of problem. I can turn everything on (except the computer, of course) with a single switch on the top left Furman. dj
  2. I need to entertain the audience when playing live, so I memorize everything, chord changes, lyrics, arrangements. -dj
  3. Can you program silent patches to be selected in the Nautilus when you don't want it to sound? Then you don't have to buy or make anything. -dj
  4. That was my thought, sounds like a Pianet to me. -dj
  5. This is true. I have owned 6 of them, all purchased new: Electro 3 paid 1695 sold for 1400 (2 years later) Nord Wave paid 1940 sold 1850 (2 years later) Stage 2 paid 3400 sold 2400 (6 years later) Lead A1 paid 1800 sold 1400 (two years later) The definitely hold their value better than any electronic instrument I have ever owned. My Stage 3 is one of the best purchases I have ever made. -dj
  6. I run two K8.2 speakers in stereo and have to roll off the bass. For me, that speaker puts out a lot of low end for being so small. -dj
  7. I also have a brand new K8.2, opened the box for testing: https://lasvegas.craigslist.org/msg/d/north-las-vegas-qsc-k82-new-open-box/7455198342.html Shipping would be pricey, but still cheaper than buying from a dealer. Where are you located? I am in Las Vegas- -dj
  8. The Radial KL-8 does this. I have my stage playback set to stereo (monitor out) and the Main out has a switch that sums to mono and sends it out of both the left and right outputs. Very convenient, as I don't have to rewire anything. -dj
  9. I used the main part of one of the On Stage KSA7575 mic attachments. I forced it in with a hammer and them used JB Weld to secure it. However, it will never come out! -dj
  10. I actually cut 3 inches off of the top tier, so it is that much longer from the factory with these pins at the end to hold the 2nd board in place- https://www.fullcompass.com/prod/243576-k-m-18881-keyboard-stacker-a?dfw_tracker=36058-243576&gclid=Cj0KCQjwl7qSBhD-ARIsACvV1X0EUfDyXQFDxSNYx1crotdhw3HBFcwt-qbAxNscWoQEgRVaF5Rkj3MaAkVhEALw_wcB -dj
  11. Also, the K&M 18880 weighs less than any X stand (<10lbs) even with the second tier attached:
  12. I loved my WS as well, had the 500th one made in 1993 kept it until 2018. One of the coolest synths ever. Useless was the Roland AX-7 Keytar, impossible to program. I also bought the Korg RK100S in 2014 and sold it this year for what I paid. They never updated the editor software, so it cannot be programmed on any modern computer- -dj -dj
  13. Then you will love it. Also in your price range. The two tier is over $200 now, and I bought my last one for $120 last year. -dj
  14. Nord Stage 2 Compact, then Stage 3 Compact. Best single boards I have ever owned. -dj
  15. Interesting, this has not been my experience at all. I played with a very loud band just before moving to Nevada and the QSCs sounded great, and I really hate "honkiness" -dj
  16. Thanks for doing this. I have a couple of the QSC K8.2s, and also use the the default setting with a little EQ. Once I did this, they sounded fantastic for acoustic piano and everything else- -dj
  17. Seems like it might work pretty well, as long as you could drill additional holes to lower the top tier further. $120 US seems like a bargain price these days- -dj
  18. Actually, it is part of an On-Stage Mic attachment (KSA7575) that I force-fit into the end of the tier. I added a quick-release for the mic boom. -dj
  19. Sounds interesting, but not something I would have any use for- -dj
  20. The Omega is great if you don't have to move it. I found the K&M 18880 and 18881 stacker are perfect. Lightweight (<10Lbs) , set up and tear down are 20 seconds each. Very solid (better than the Baby Spider Pro it replaced). About the same price as Omega. Best keyboard stand I ever owned. It is so easy to move that I no longer need a spare to leave at rehearsal.
  21. I have experience with the QSC backorder situation as well. Back in November, one of my K8.2s blew an amp module. Even though it was four years old, it still had two years of warranty and I took it to my local QSC authorized repair shop. I was informed by the tech that it would be April before he had the amp module and it is still sitting there in the shop. I knew they were not available at any of the dealers, but I searched and found one from an Ebay dealer in a sealed box for $699! I bought that (I play in stereo on stage) and sometime soon will have 3 of them. The price has since gone up to $819 MAP. -dj
  22. Bravo 6 is the easiest on my eyes, looks great! -dj
  23. I don't care for this song, but that made me smile! 😄
  24. I have seen other CL ads like this, offering keyboards, pianos, and guitars at too-good-to-be-true prices. They are scams for sure- -dj
  25. When Randy Newman was asked in an interview what song he wished he had written, his answer was "Happy Birthday" and the "Tonight Show Theme"! -dj
