  1. Not sure why you would be using two mixers, but the L/R channels should definitely be panned hard in each direction, unless you are plugged into Stereo channels. -dj
  2. Two boards, Nord Stage 3, midi out to Nord Wave 2. One midi cable NS3-NW2. Song mode in NS3 (up to 5 patches per song) sends program changes. No software, computers, phones, etc. From the old school. All songs and lyrics memorized so I can focus on entertaining the audience- -dj
  3. The problem with stands like that is the setup and breakdown is much too time consuming. I had the On Stage KS7365EJ and it is a great, solid stand, just not suitable for gigging. I do have one in my studio, as it never gets broken down. -dj
  4. I used a hacksaw to cut about 4 inches off of the arms of the stacker, the aluminum cuts very easily- --dj
  5. Yes, I only stand when I play. However, the adjustments to change from sitting to standing are fiddly and take time, so that is something to be considered. It took me a couple hours to make all of the modifications I needed for my situation, like shortening the second tier, changing its angle, adding weatherstripping, etc. -dj
  6. Another vote for K&M 18880 and 18881 stacker. You don't have to reverse the second tier if you drill an additional hole to lower it. Great stand, weighs nothing, sturdy, folds flat. Best I ever owned, and I have two Invisible stands-
  7. I always download the manual for any instrument I am planning to purchase. Makes sure you know what it can and cannot do- -dj
  8. Hit Men by Frederick Dannen- -dj
  9. I use the Radial KL-8 which has this feature on either the Main or Monitor out. Not cheap, though- -dj
  10. Music Pro user for many years, never had to file a claim so far, service has been good- -dj
  11. I know he is famous and a lot of people respect him, but his sanctimony makes it impossible for me to listen to him at all. -dj
  12. I have two of them holding up my studio:
  13. I bought one of these years ago for my studio and it has held up really well, adjustable and comfortable- https://www.staples.com/BOSS-Caressoft-Faux-Leather-Doctor-s-Stool-with-Back-Black/product_730299?cid=PS:GS:SBD:PMAX:OF:LowPri&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwpNuyBhCuARIsANJqL9NmLrPnWzvF_bkeOGK8fS5uUx-W6KVP71vUQrJsmLSizd1VmiW8lBoaAqSoEALw_wcB -dj
  14. His sanctimonious analyses drive me crazy, I cannot listen to him. -dj
  15. I made the decision of starting my home life after my touring days were over. I still play live, but only a couple of times a month as a hobby now. Now, whatever Band Life I have has to fit into my home life, not the other way around- -dj
