Krakit
My curiosity's tweaked based on something said in the Hammond emulator thread. What company's product would you endorse? I have more Roland and Boss gear than any other name brand. Between keyboards, monitors, sequencers, pedals, modules etc. If you asked me Roland owes me an endorsement deal. http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/wink.gif

No one's asking, but: Mackie -- just simply can't beat the value of their small mixers Anthony Demaria Labs -- great all-tube compressors Korg, perhaps 3MS (makers of the wondrous triwave picognerator) Native Instruments Nemesys (Gigasampler/Studio) Sonic Implants (best cheap soundfont and giga downloadable samples.) Waves, for the great plugins TC Works, for the great plugins Opcode, for the great plugins Cakewalk -- I think it's a great program, but please no MAC/PC wars... Bontempi, for the amazing 10-dollar PK-11 reed organ Consider me available for all aforementioned endorsements... coyote
Once upon a time, I managed a local drum shop as well as playing out constantly.... I had endorsements from Sabian & Atlas cymbals, and PureCussion drums. Just free gear, but it made a diff in my bottom line and I moved a ton of product for all three companies! I used to think I was Libertarian. Until I saw their platform; now I know I'm no more Libertarian than I am RepubliCrat or neoCON or Liberal or Socialist. This ain't no track meet; this is football. Jg42
Hi... Yamaha here... TG-55 + CS1x (and thinking about FSR-1 - too bad they discontinued it (at least I heard that - is it really so???))... They make nice motorcycles too http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gifhttp://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gifhttp://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif I wish E-mu have done something (virtual) analog or real digital synth http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif - I love their samplers, but they don't do synths anymore... http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/frown.gif I could endorse them as well... http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif ------------------ Cheers, Arseny http://www.mp3.com/arseny
Bobro
Midiman- inexpensive, well made, good sound, cute little boxes. What more can a guy ask? Samplitude- I don't have a computer set up for Samplitude yet, but it's definitely the next step. Sound quality up the wazoo, groovy Iron Curtain thinking behind the software. They just have that swank. Native Instruments- Reaktor rules, THE softsynth, worth dedicating a laptop to. I'm burned out on softsynths but not this one. Doepfer modular synths- better to be given the gear than have to save up for it, eh? -CB %5C

Bucktunes
I'm a Korg man myself, but I doubt they need my help. They keep getting more of my money without my endorsement! http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Seriously, how does one go about getting an endorsement, anyway? I play a fairly high profile gig in Las Vegas, with thousands of tourists and conventioners passing by and stopping in every day. I bet I could convince a rep that my "advertising" benefits them. Like I said, I don't think the big fish would be too interested, but I wouldn't mind being seen with a Nord or a Q if I didn't have to pay for it! Yeah Dave, I know Andy blows both of them away, but I don't think Alesis (or whoever owns them now) needs my help, either! http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/wink.gif Peace all, Steve ><> Steve

Jeff luvs Valky!!! http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif But please, if anyone calls/emails/otherwise contacts me for the mythical "endorsement deal" for free/discounted gear, let me burst your bubble up front in that we don't do them. DOS
Ooh, this is a fun topic... Okay, I like Roland and Sonic Foundry a lot so I would definately endorse them. I'd also endorse Yamaha and not for their pianos or synths necessarily, but because they are the one company who makes practically EVERYTHING and makes them well. Motorcycles, Waverunners... *drool*. As for pianos, I'd endorse Steinway, Bosendorfer, and Fazioli (even though I have yet to play all the models in the Bosey and Fazioli line). If I ever became a professional concert pianist, I'd endorse Fazioli just to get one of their model 308 pianos. Mike

If I put you in this ad, you might not get taken seriously as an engineer and/or eventual high-powered businesswoman in the audio industry. So I hired a model who actually knows how to play guitar, which makes it a step up in reality from just some pretty chick holding an instrument uncomfortably. In any case, you don't want to be at an interview with some guy saying, "Hey! Weren't you the chick in that ad?". And no, it's not cheesecake...sorry to dissapoint you, Dan. http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/wink.gif Just an ad that happens to have a person in it who happens to be female. Who also happens to be a hottie. By the way...here in this country, TASCAM pretty much is an American company. We all get paid by TEAC Corporation of America. And at our offices in lovely Montebello, only two people in the whole TASCAM staff were born somewhere outside the U.S. Anyway, the ad hits in Keyboard, Electronic Musician and a bunch of other mags next month. Check it out and see if I've done cheesecake in the most tasteful possible manner. http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif - Jeff Marketing Communications for MI/Pro Audio My solo music and stuff They Stole My Crayon
