RABid
I'll pick the first one. By the way, my favorite Chicago song (suite) is at the 48 minute mark. [video:youtube] For some reason I am having a horrible time getting YouTube videos to post on this forum. Quote This post edited for speling. Markay
Lots of great concerts out there, but for some reason this is the one I keep coming back to. Youtube links work best for me if I copy the addy from the YouTube app. [video:youtube]https://youtu.be/4xL7Ilh1DFI Quote A misguided plumber attempting to entertain | MainStage 3 | Axiom 61 2nd Gen | Pianoteq | B5 | XK3c | EV ZLX 12P

SamuelBLupowitz
Here's one I enjoyed a whole lot a few months ago and have been meaning to share here. Booker's got a killer band here (including his son on guitar and vocals), and I think the drummer is particularly impressive... dig his drum/rap break in Hip Hug Her! [video:youtube] Quote Samuel B. SamuelBLupowitz
my favorite Chicago song (suite) is at the 48 minute mark.Jeez, I always forget that Kath-era Chicago was just one of the coolest bands around. This is awesome! Cetera was such a wicked bass player... I really mourn his transition into 80s top-40 balladry, though I'm sure his bank account doesn't. Quote Samuel B. Lupowitz Musician. TommyRude
Hey thanks for posting that Chicago concert, I hadn't seen that one, thoroughly enjoyed. I saw Chicago at the Greek Theater in L.A. somewhere around 1974, give or take a year or two. awesome. What stands out in my memory was Danny Seraphine's drum solo. Here's another concert, no keys and probably not everyone's cup of tea but lots of fun and maybe the greatest bass player in the universe. analogika
"Use Me" is just the most amazing thing ever. â¦and two bars into the acoustic guitar intro to "Harlem", it's goosebumps that just don't go away again. RABid
Another Tanglewood concert. Tanglewood must have been a major destination for bands in the 1970's.
