There are many more versions (Elvis, Black Crowes ("Black moon Creeping"), "big"

, etc. ), some intimidating, some lame, but I think made a nice selection to emphasize some of the corners songs can end up in, and of course I listened to all of these, they're good (IMHO).

Obviously, I can play this song, too, so I'll start making a non-produced recording, maybe with keyboard cam-view to have a little fun, why not add a rendition of your own. Come on, point that Iphone, press that "rec" button, and join the fun!

You should not leave out the Mel Torme recordings. My particular favorites.

Great tune! Im in! ...

Nice! I'm looking forward to it.

I just tried out a piano an organ version, both "new" (unfinished) sounds from the PC3, recorded with Android pad and Sony cam, respectively, no edits, no conversions, no software effects:

Here are the computer recorded "direct out" versions in 256 kbps mp3: bluemoon_1.mp3 , bluemoon_2b.mp3 .

Have fun !

"Blue Moon" is a perfectly constructed song by Rodgers and Hart.

I am more interested in the Keith Jarrett, Bill Evans, slow ballad versions... but I don't think either covered it.

Wynton Kelly did it as a medium swing ...

So did Oscar Peterson:

I'm interested in keyboard interpretations of Blue Moon, not really the vocal versions...
