HammondDave
Yeah.. it was just the XK3c.. not the system... Its funny as the shot made it look like he was sitting with the fans. kanker.
Mother effer has a hell of a lot nicer board than the Padres do. I'm betting it's his own axe... A ROMpler is just a polyphonic turntable.
Bobadohshe
Mother effer has a hell of a lot nicer board than the Padres do. I'm betting it's his own axe... Eff him x 2 then I wish I could bring my own XK3c, but that would mean I'd have to own one. I did audition using the XM2 module and it sounded very nice indeed. Unfortunately the Electone isn't as beefy sounding. Bosendorphen
Unfortunately the Electone isn't as beefy sounding. You want mine? You could do a monster layer..... Indeed! I've set up a controller playing VB3 on top of my Electone and it's a cool 3 manual rig! Baldwin Funster
The latest Austin City Limits with patty griffin had prominent organ on every song. It looked like a XK3/XK3c . I'm not sure but it sounded like the onboard leslie sim to me. It sounded good. FunMachine.
retrokeys
Checked out the Patty Griffin video. It is an XK3c system and he is running through a leslie with a foam lower rotor.
Adan
Yeah, I saw that shot too. Sounded good but kind of strange when you expect to see some kind of antiqu-ish console at the ol ballgame. Go Giants! This baseball postseason is playing havoc with my productivity, but I'm loving it! Bobadohshe
Giants only started having organ at their ball park either this year or last or maybe the year before from what I understand. It's making a bit of a comeback. Bobadohshe
Indeed! I've set up a controller playing VB3 on top of my Electone and it's a cool 3 manual rig! I thought of using a controller to control a laptop, but this 70's era Electone is already a 3 manual rig! http://bobbycressey.files.wordpress.com/2010/04/smaller-organ-1.jpg Kawai C-60 Grand Piano : Hammond A-100 : Hammond SK2 : Yamaha CP4 : Yamaha Montage 7 : Moog Sub 37 My latest album: Funky organ, huge horn section https://bobbycressey.bandcamp.com/album/cali-native

John Deaderick
Kas- I used the XK3 System on Austin City limits. I left my cables to connect the bottom manual and was stuck using only the top one but the Leslie was a 122xb.
HammondDave
During the game the organ was right up front and sounded GREAT! Cannot enjoy baseball without an organ... Moonglow
....Cannot enjoy baseball without an organ... I could enjoy a baseball game in the middle of a blizzard. As our local guy, Harry Caray, espoused: Q: "Do you know what kind of day is a good day for a baseball game?" A: "Any day!"
