Crushed
Drenched. . .Very cool. I'm very much into goth stuff. You're very reminiscent of Nick Cave, Dead Can Dance, and Fields of the Nephilim, et. al. The production is very experimental and dark. I love the mood that you've created. Keep it up. You might check out my "goth" song called Fides et Historia at the link below. Steve LeBlanc
I don't mean any disrespect to current events by posting this tune...music is keeping me sane...I always release new music when it's fresh...let me know if you think it's inappropriate for me to post a tune this weekend. This song might brighten your day a bit...we started it last weekend and finished it last night...it is in no way related to Tuesday. rold
OK, I've been holding out for months, mostly trying to come up with something better than this but haven't been able to write. Lost all other masters in a major HD crash. Song was written 15 minutes before and while in studio, nothing much to it really. I'm not a singer and can't really sing so you'll have to excuse that.. hmm..While we're at it, you'll have to excuse the poor sitar, guitar, and bass playing..add lyrics to the list..too Thanks to Daniel Mansilla from I mother Earth for the percussions and Vaughn Passmore for the engineering and studio space, and Lisa, Carol and Christine for the backups. Listen fairly loud, sounds better... dturner
Hello All, http://www.geocities.com/turnerresearch/guitar Here is a little site I put up to share a few solo guitar performances based on chord/melody arrangements by jazz guitarist Johnny Smith. These arrangements are brutal to learn [doncha just love learning those chords that cover six frets?]... but SUCH FUN to play when they become smooth. I also added a funky backing track that is fun to play along with. All these recordings were made with my new G4/DIGI001 system - the first "real" recording system I've ever owned. But I am learning... and I am so excited about what is coming next. Best Regards, Dennis Turner Cedarville, Ohio dturner@gemair.com

I could see that lone whistle at 1:48 during the big guit solo in Conrad be a kind of listener anticipated trademark of this artist or just this song if copied a time or two judiciously in other places. Overdrive guits on When I Was Three wrestle the song away from the singer. could even 1db less keep em present yet let him rock on top? -- Music has miracle potential --
alphajerk
thanks dude. i think the band actually wants those whistles out all together. the vox is actually pretty dirty [in signal flow] my SD U99 into api 312, in the mix it has a couple moogerfooger pedals on it, an analog delay overdriven for slapback with a 40/60 mix effectively multing the vox track with a dirty tone and a 12 stage phaser for width also slightly overdriven, both on aux sends. no eq. 80hz hp filter. rnc compression insert. they are just demo mixes for now whipped out in a couple days. have other projects going now so they are kinda done for now.... but up for people to enjoy. alphajerk FATcompilation "if god is truly just, i tremble for the fate of my country" -thomas jefferson

The fit is very good - I just got done jamming for several hours on my grand piano...just me and the piano...and listening to this on top of the meds is very relaxing. I know this is a ramble, but what the hell... Nice ramble, dude - what is it you have against George - of course, at the moment, I am feeling very a political ------------------ http://www.broadjam.com/artistprofile/artistindex.asp?artistID=936 or listen at... http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/294/mark_coming_project.html http://www.broadjam.com/artistprofile/artistindex.asp?artistID=936 or listen at... http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/294/mark_coming_project.html
Steve LeBlanc
heh, well my feelings about the Bush family are long and winded so I won't get into that here... It is almost irrelevent in this piece because none of the beginning was arranged...it's all completely random...I couldn't even hear the Soundbites when I was playing...didn't even know they were there, my brother was playing with buttons, I didn't know. Makes it that much more creepy to me . Anyway, thanks for checking it out. I'll have a listen to your new stuff ASAP, looking forward to it.
