  1. OK so the process for the phizer vaccine and after care is:-

    1 - Have first injection

2 - Maintain social distances, no interaction with friends and relatives within a home environment, continue with sanitizer and facemask use.

3 - 21 days later have second injection.

4 - Maintain social distances, no interaction with friends and relatives within a home environment, continue with sanitizer and facemask use for at least 28 days.

5 - Maximum level of immunity attained.

6 - Maintain social distances, continue with sanitizer and facemask use to help contain the spread of the virus by physical contact to those who are still at risk or have not had the vaccine.

    Is that about it?

  2. It sucks when this happens.

I had an eBay sale item so called lost all £400 of it and it took 4 months of hastle.

I learned never buy postage and insurance via eBay, always buy it direct then there is no intermediary to have to go through.

Depending upon where you are the laws will be different to mine.

Here we would send a registered letter to the companies head office and in it give full details of the problem and give them 28 days from receipt of the letter to settle the outstanding claim or court action will be initiated via the small claims service. Where for £25 we can take out a writ against the company and they them have to respond to the court, court costs will eventually be included in the settlement as will any out of pocket expenses. Hence companies avoid having to go to court as the case will be in our home town.

  3. @Jr. Deluxe - thanks for the reply. A pitch wheel would be nice, but the AiX sound engine and speakers of the CT-X700 seem to be so much better than what's in the less-expensive Casiotone CT-S300 that has a pitch wheel. I think the lack of split volume may be irritating on occasion, but not sure that the extra $ is worth it if the Yamaha overall sounds aren't that much better. That's why I'm trying to get additional opinions on the sounds of the E373, which is purported to offer a significantly advanced sound engine and piano sample than its predecessor, the E363, which did not fare well against the CT-X700.

@Biggles - thanks for the reply. I corrected my initial post so it now reads more clearly and I also added a budget of $200. My idea to get a "couch keyboard" came from recent threads on this site as well as older threads regarding the CT-X700.

I believe that both the CT-X700 and the PSR E373 have the same sound engine, pianos, and keybed as their respective companies' $450 boards, so I don't think either of them will sacrifice sound/playability vs. spending double the price. Also, bigger speakers mean a bigger chassis and more weight, which defeats the purpose of getting a lap board.

    I get the budget.

Take it from one who has played the E series models the 463 is worth the extra $ over the 373.

It is the same with the Casio models, the 700 is the bottom tier of the ladder.

If you buy the 373 and practice daily then in six months you will have well outgrown the capabilities of the keyboard.

    Buy once buy better quality.

  4. You will not see much about beginner boards here, with the nearest being low end digital pianos like the Casio S1000 or Yamaha P 125, Kawai ES 110 etc.

Play a Go Keys or Go Piano and you will soon see why they are not written about much.

As for your choices, quite honestly up your budget and buy something much superior like a Korg EK50 which is $450 USD.

Or go for the Yamaha 463 which is $300 or Casio CTX3000 also at $300

  5. No need to apologise.

There are far to many cr4p Youtube posters giving their eminently missable views on some piece of kit.

Sadly all to many people watch them and what is even worst Is the mumble dialogue or OTT diatribe.

By far the best and only review that matters is your own.

  6. I do not agree with the eBay process stated.

That may work in the USA but it will be different in other Countries.

Here in the UK the bidding will not start until within the last day to depress the final auction winning bid and so that the vendor cannot pull the listing.

The very high eBay and Paypal fees will eat into and cash due to you.

Ensure the item is insured and that if something is lost it can take two months plus to resolve.

Set a Reserve price on items of value.

  7. Search this section of the forum and you will find quite a few posts on this very subject.

I have a Yamaha, the others are a pain to change instrument voices.

I disliked the Korg action and piano voices.

The Kawai ES120 that I tried had a very and I mean very clunky keyboard.

  8. As a guitarist who is making the transition to keyboards your statement is so valid.

There are plenty of courses but totally disjointed as far as I have found.

At least with most of the Keyboard courses that I have looked at they do tend to be by literate players who can communicate and not the dross that start up their guitar course by ..... wassup, man, how ya doin ..... then proceed to mumble their way through what they are trying to explain.

  9. As some on your list does not have a hammer action keybed I will suggest:-

Yamaha PSR EW410 76 keys and battery powered

Maybe an Arranger like a Korg PA700 or Yamaha SX700 will suffice, 2x25W onboard amp and speakers, 61 keys and battery powered.

You could always buy whatever DP you want and get a portable power supply to operate it.

    BTW

In your list Roland Go Piano, any Casio has a better keybed.

Yamaha NP32 has a soft touch keybed that feels weird

The Korg B2 / B2N have even worst keybeds thab the NP

    Just my opinion of course.
