  3. B sharp, 'cause if you follow that van 2 close you could B come accidentall-Eb Jake
  4. I"m hearing it as an E sustained single note, followed by D, C#, B, A, cascading down to an E major triad 1st inversion, then Sean trades off to an A9, back and forth to E, and finally finishing with a B11 ( F#m7 over B). My best guess. Now I need a nap. Excuse me. Jake
  5. If you like pedals, you"ll love this:
  6. Beat you by a weekâ¦â¦. Happy Birthday!
  7. You might consider the Leslie 2101. I have a 1st gen one and the bass simulator is good. Pass through is built in and it can crank out when needed. I don"t have any Studio 12 experience. Jake
  8. One of the hippest jazz waltzes was penned by Lalo Schffrin. I did a big band arrangement for my college band.
  9. 18 years of love and joy will hopefully outlive the tragedy at the end of her short life. Grey, I"m sorry for your loss and prayers for you and your family are a given. Jake
  10. Grey, That"s one hell of a footnote to leave a post with. Prayers are with you and I hope she overcomes this tragic setback. Jake
  11. Helis, fixed wing, drones ( camera ships plus FPV) for over 20 years. Just got into ground pounders to enjoy with my grandsons. Started with the Axial SCX24 crawlers, and will graduate to some 1/10 scale Arrma Granites. I still have a fondness for the Tamiya oddballs and just finished Vanessa's Lunchbox. The Mighty Dump Truck and Diecast Masters Cat Excavator are favorites. It's all fun.
  12. I"ve had my two in a corner for 10 years and they fill the room just fine.

  18. Everything from a few tiny whoops to a Mavic Pro.I also learned the hard way when I found that my $450.00 set of Fat Sharks didn"t have a movable diopter ability and I can"t fly without squinting. Take your time and enjoy what you have; when you"re ready to upgrade it"ll be cheaper than it is now. Lots of online sites to get you going virtually as well. Simulators are your friend. Jake
  19. Had to get back to my roots - just me and my B-3. [video:youtube] Gotta play before the arthritis totally cripples me. Jake
  20. There"s something about 94 year olds that mystifies me. Two years ago while doing my 10 week physical therapy after my triple bypass I met Henry. He was distinctive in many ways, mostly dress. Always wore jeans, a flannel shirt, a belt, and suspenders. His only concession to therapy was he was forced to buy a pair of sneakers so he wouldn"t mar the warmup/cool down track. His attitude blew me away. He always checked with his therapist as to the order of activities and if any counts increased, and followed instructions like a bulldog. He was a bit shaky when walking, so he was allowed to use a walker, which he proceeded to wear the wheels off. Being a mere lad of 67 I used to lap him when we shared the track, and I usually asked him how he was. 'Not bad for an old man' was his standard reply. On my last day I finally asked him his age: 92! Henry has been my inspiration ever since, but after watching this vid he now has company. This proves the tag line about playing and aging - if you want it bad enough you can do it. Jake
