    I love music and this forum because I am part of a community in which my opinion sometimes perfectly aligns or completely opposes that of another listener/member. This is an example of the latter. I LOVE this song, production and sound. This is one of my favorite all-time LPs! The Eagles, however, SUCK!! I digress! Long live Trevor Horn and all he touches...even his dick.

    I own both. Although I"ve not done a side by side comparison, they sound indistinguishable to my ears.

    I remember that ad...saw that tour and had that album in heavy rotation. Chick had a song titled '99 Flavors' dedicated to the synth. I remember it having good feel. Can"t say whether a flop or not. I toured with a guy still using it in 2006 and I was impressed it still turned on. Regardless, Syntronik is a good deal. $49 for deluxe version right now.

    I don"t have my 06 in front of me and cannot state with any certainty about pads sending MIDI. However, you can certainly trigger external or internal sounds across splits.

    Weird is right! I think it could be weirder to deny an autograph! It sounds like you have left quite an impression on fans and am glad they show appreciation, Dan! Did you happen to see the Last Dance doc on ESPN? There is a scene where an audio tech gets scolded after asking for Michael Jordan"s autograph. Jordan just stares at him and then a handler. I digress, if someone has an autographed t-shirt on display decades after your death, good on you!
