  1. KJ is my all-time favorite, I find he posses both superior ability and the highest sense of romance I’ve ever heard. Deer Head Inn and My Foolish Heart are my favorite full length trio records. Over the Rainbow, an encore from La Scala; and Tokyo Encore from Sun Bear Concerts may be my favorite “moments” from his recordings. Over the Rainbow, in particular, is sublime.
  2. Play 80s covers and from time to time, we *ussies play to a synth bass or other tracks when indicated. Only the drummer hears the click: we are sticking as faithfully to the *ussy recordings for the *ussies who come to see us. I also trigger parts for which I lack finger dexterity, speed and talent. At this point in our collective careers, we don’t give a *hit about music and are only in this for money & *ussy. Clicks and tracks are our only redeeming quality.
  3. Very happy with Clarion here as well.
  4. Butterfly Boucher on bass, perhaps? Incredible musician. Her 2004 album, “Flutterby,” is so good. I assume that is her. Vince was with Sarah as far back as ‘99. Probably a satisfying gig!
  5. It immediately sounded modeled. While maybe an improvement over 2 with additional mic options, less realistic to me.
  6. I regret the purchase. I own and never use. I prefer Ravenscroft, Keyscape
  7. Just a wonderful pop performance from top to bottom. Killer piano. “Cloudburst,” from ‘73 is a smoking’ piano take as well!
  8. I played in a top-40 band playing hotels when I was 19. I had a VFX and VFX-SD on an Ultimate Support Aphex stand and was told, after failures on the gig and taking in for repairs, that the motherboards were breaking in the center of the board. I supposed the stand didn’t help as there was no support in the middle. I digress. Years later, I bought another SD and it needs a new battery. Any pointers on that step is greatly appreciated. All said, they remain my favorites and I wish there were a better plug-in version than UVI Vintage Synth. The UI was so nice for the noob I was.
  9. The only consistent piece of gear I’ve owned professionally touring since 1997. It’s been around the world and still holds up. Back rest is a must now.
  10. Well… what was it?? im in the process of replacing the battery in my VFX and you have me on pins and needles.
  11. I own BX3, VB3, B5 & UA Waterfall. BX3 is my absolute favorite. My only wish is mechanical/wind noise. It’s great on iOS too.
  12. I have the Emulator Shakuhachi sounds from Emulator II. I believe this is Eb, Ab, Bb and Eb Octave.
