  1. Thanks DD, I sent them a request for Leslie tubes and also mentioned Hammond needs as well. We'll see....
  2. I liked the changes to the pianos; tone and keybed feel. The EQ is also a nice improvement, especially the bass and treble. Mid is good with all the other piano voices. I find using very little mid with the organ and internal sim is the way to go. When I use Vent 2 or Burn pedal, season mid to taste. Would LOVE if the boys added another Leslie sim or 2 to choose from, alla Burn pedal menu….

  4. Home, A100 & 122. Gigs Mojo 61 with lower manual. Meat, potatoes mit gravy!
  5. Wes the o/d circuit just went quiet.
  6. I've had mine for about a year, second owner. Once in a blue moon if I turned the back knob really fast, I would get a howl type feedback; lesson learned, just turn the knob slow/normal and no problems there. The o/d circuit stopped working about 2 months ago so I just swapped out the tube with a NOS I had in my spares bin. Problem solved. I also have a Vent 2, and like DD stated I swap out to either, but I find myself using the Burn as my go to sim and the V2 as my spare. I like the ease of the midi cable control for fast/slow control. One less halfmoon switch or foot switch to connect. Joe
  7. Nice to see another organ amp. DD, take a look at Byron’s split road Leslie cabinets. Valhalla Woodworking. Top notch and prices aren’t too crazy. Like a lot of guys here, I’ve stopped moving a real cabinet. 😄☹️
  8. Thanks to all for the intel; great recommendations...
  9. Thanks guys, going to look at the Roland 500; might just be the ticket for me. The Keylab is very nice, but seems like overkill for what I'm looking at. Joe
  10. Hello again, I'm late to the party regarding midi controllers and have had some help along the way from DD and AS with advice for not using my Hammond sk1 as a controller for VB3M and Korg Module. It's just not CC friendly as we know. First choice was Code 49, all gone and the few used I found are are missing knobs, sliders etc. not looking for used. I like the Arturia mkii and although it's a bit more expensive, if it covers all the controls I would need for organ, I would go for it. It has expression jack so that's huge, and has enough sliders and knobs that I think it would cover vib/chorus, percussion, db's, sim speeds via wheels...anyone using one of these? It's probably a lot more machine than I need, not looking to produce or record, just an old organ guy looking for an easy chair rehearsal board for fun. I found a thread from @2020 that mentioned this unit as well as a couple other lower priced models. Thanks for your time and input in advance, Joe
  11. Dave, PM sent about your rig. Joe
  12. I have a 2016 dual Mojo LE; black coat finish and with the "light action" keybeds that all Mojo have now. I had some static issues when I used the Crumar expression pedal, switched to a Yf-7 and issued solved. Had always performed flawlessly, never any issues. I've used it on only a few gigs, now using an M61 (2019) which has had no issues whatsoever. Picked up a lm for the 61 and that is working fine as well. Might sell the dual one of these days since I'm kinda in redundant territory and go for a Korg sv-2 88 once I can find one at my local GC, Ash, etc...
  13. HI, try discharging yourself by touching anything metal before you touch your Mojo; corner of a wall that has metal corner bead under the sheetrock, yes I have done that, try your organ stand, seat frame, light switch cover or the screws if the cover is plastic. Been in your position before, I have gotten into the habit of just grabbing my stand framing every time before I use mine. Hope you find a solution, good luck.
  14. Hello, I'm trying to use newly purchased app with my SK-1. Hoping someone has been successful and can point me in the right direction. I am using Korg plug key via midi cable between my Ipad and SK1. I can utilize the drawbars and expression pedal on the sk, but that's about it. By trial and error I found that the knobs on the sk that control organ overdrive, effect, extra voice effect, and reverb will turn on the vb3m c/v, Leslie sim in stop as well as slow and fast. Tapping any button in the sk-1 will turn off these effects. The midi learn as well as manual selection does not happen. I think this is due to Hammonds lack of CC use. I do not understand much of midi and midi mapping, so hoping you can help me out. Maybe there is a midi merge type box that would work? If not, I can get by but it would be nice to be able to use the controller the correct way. Thanks for your time as usual.
  15. Try going to main menus and finding if there is an option to run the SK1 as a dual manual parameter. I recall seeing that years ago; this might help, and the lower controller should then be set to channel 2. Upper 1 lower 2 bass pedals 3. Joe
  16. Take a look at this tutorial for Mojo 61. @ 3- 4 minute mark.
  17. I'm very happy with the flexibility and sounds from the Burn; glad I found it. Putting my Vent 2 on the shelf and going out with the Burn for the foreseeable future...
  18. Hey Dave, I agree with much of your findings. I have a 2016 Mojo dual LE; has black coat finish and lighter action, I like the original sim in this organ very much; I tried the sim update back then, didn't care for it so I down dated it back to the original and still like it, better than my Mojo 61. The dual stays home mostly, gig the 61 with and without the lower manual. I find the 61 sim has too much mid color that can't be adjusted out/down enough for me. The raw organ is amazing, and sounds great with my 122 as well as a Vent II, but like you I have begun using the Burn with it. Recently acquired from a fellow forum member, thanks Mike. I like the distant mic set up at the moment; really nice clean sounding Leslie with the tube off. Some great effects and amps in the Burn, I find the tube overdrive circuit to be too much too quick. I gotta spend some time with it to see if I can find a happy medium for the o/d. I thought maybe it had a 12ax7 tube circuit but the guys in Italy wrote to me and state it uses a 12au7 circuit (ecc82) so there goes my idea of mellowing out the o/d. I have a stash of old 12au7 tubes, so I may try a GE or Sylvania in there. It's a keeper. Joe
  19. Please disregard, found it via the google. ð
  20. Hi all, I'm looking for any existing info/conversations; tried searching but nothing that applies and with the one year limit, could not find anything. Maybe someone remembers if there is one and can post it? Thanks, Joe.
  21. Condolences to all of you family. Sorry for your loss.
  22. Regarding the popping noises, had this develop on my V1 and now V2. Easiest way to get rid of it is to set up everything, turn your amp down to 1 or zero, press the bypass switch a few times. For whatever reason, the pop goes down to barely noticeable. Turn up your amp and get to work. Let us know if that helps. Joe
