  1. it was called the L1, hints of its release go back before Covid, I’m guessing it was a casualty of Covid-related supply chain issues.
  2. 👍 https://midisolutions.com/prodevp.htm their midi router would also do what you need
  3. what Scott said, and it only has one organ model, a B3, which is quite bright. On my SKpro I use the A100 and lower the crossover on the drive. You can't do that on the M-solo.
  4. The 3080 was regarded by many as sounding better than the 5080 and the Fantom Xr that came after it.
  5. My past was similar, always a rack, various Rolands, Kurz PC2R, Trinity rack, a little Akai half rack piano unit at one time, EMU P2K. Then, for a while, I went to 2 keyboards and dropped the rack. But now I have to take a rack with my Radial KL-8 for my IEMs, so why not add some modules, lol. Currently a Dexibell SX7 and a GSI Gemini. Broadens the sound palette nicely, though if I was looking to buy a rack module again I think I'd just go with an iPad.

  7. I got a Yamaha MODX7 bag, good fit, not a great deal of cushioning, but it does have back straps, and it’s held up fine.
  8. Both, Mojo-61 for Wurli, Rhodes, clav and lower manual Hammond, M-solo upper manual Hammond. Sorted.
  9. 2 DBRs sound great for piano, one not so much, but that goes for any PA speaker. I think 2 Altos would be my pick for the money and tour gig.
  10. I fell down this rabbit hole just recently, these two are standouts:
  11. The Dexibell SX7/8 does audio and midi over usb, as does Roland's Integra 7. Roland's SH-01a, a digital clone, has audio over usb but the Toraiz AS-1, basically an analog single voice Prophet made by Dave Smith in association with Pioneer, has only midi over usb and no audio. I don't know of any analog boards, such as your Prophet, that send audio over usb. And then there's the issue AnotherScott raises above.
  12. Son, we live in a world that has synthesizers, and those synthesizers have to be made by men with filters. Who's gonna do it? You? I eat breakfast 3 patch cords from 2 voltage controlled oscillators …
  13. Let me guess, you’re working on a script for a movie called A Few Good Synthesists.
  14. this, basically a 73 note Mojo-61 with the Gemini built in. I’d buy one yesterday.
  15. that video popped up in my feed, it looks like something from the USS Enterprise.
  16. No, and i prefer the look of the original.
  17. the original came out in 2017, it was due for an upgrade.
  18. maybe if Korg release a 73 of the X in racing green or something
  19. i think CNPCNP said the weight rules out the GS and the SV1/2
  20. https://www.purgatorycreek.com/index.php/kronos/ the Wurly 140B is magic
  21. I’d be happy to play a gig calling for Rhodes or Wurly all night on the Korg Vox Continental. For the same gig I’d be happy with the Purgatory Creek sounds (they are pretty stunning) but less thrilled with the key action on whichever Nautilus I loaded them into. I wouldn’t use either model of the CK for such a gig. And actually my first choice would be a Mojo-61. ymmv
  22. if you do give it another spin try dialing in the amp sims and drive, they make a big difference to the sound. No idea how you get the CK to play/feel/look like a 'real' instrument though, it's a budget computer with a keyboard attached no matter how I look at it.
