I'mma wait until they got out of business and buy a buttload of them when they are $15.
They would look most decorative festooned upon the upper curve of a arched garden gate, if I had an arched garden gate...
Or, bore holes into the ground on the perimeter of the front yard and make a lovely multicolored fence, if I had a front yard.
If you put foot straps on them, they might work as water skis, if I had a boat to take out water skiing.
You could even arrange them in a 3 foot diameter circle and make bbq/fire pit in the back yard, if I had a back yard...
Those aluminum bodies might be light enough to use for snow shoesâ¦says the guy living in Texas.ð

Update: WD Music sells Wilkinson stuff, still, and my past experiences with their CustServ has been good.
https://www.wdmusic.com/search.html?q=Wilkinson+
Their contact info is on the upper right corner of the page: (800) 449-9348, open M-F, 9-5 EST.
Edit: here"s the 'Contact us' page, including email.

Damn it- my links are dead. Apparently, his 'official' parts stuff is now just handled through websites like John Hornsby Skewes.
-
If you haven"t got the problem licked, try Wilkinson customer service. They"ve helped me out on product questions in the past.
-
Surprised no one"s mentioned Carlos Santana.
Some less obvious talents:
Andy Timmons
Ty Tabor
Reeves Gabrels
Billy Duffy
Nick Zinner
Josh Homme

I play organ and keys sometimes in a great soul and R&B band. The guitarist play a Reverend with 3 P90s. He has the best Strat sound. Very much like a Strat but with better girth to it.
That"s kinda my take on P90 axes, too- especially my beloved Reverends. The way I perceive it is that P90 tones start where a lot of strat players spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on pedals to get to.

One thing that really DID annoy me was the first reviewer- even after having disproven the neck has nothing more than a passing relationship with carbon fiber- kept saying the neck was carbon fiber.
-
If it weren"t for the idiotic jack placement, it might be worth it to get the kit for the body and customize it. That"s the only good thing I could see out of this.
-
I"ve seen a few of Arnold"s vids. I don"t always agree with his opinions, but he"s always brutally straightforward.
McKnight"s gentler, but he also sometimes manages to dig a little deeper.

The dream arises from the ashesâ¦again!

That is a whole lotta not love.

WOOT!
You, sir, are living my dream! Like you, I"ve been wanting an IJ since I saw the first demo. Great score! (And a nice review of what it does, too.)

Gotta sayâ¦the cartoon SFX were surprisingly accurate!
Nowâ¦who can make a Baby Taz Fuzzstortion pedal that can make that sound?
Bit of a cheat, but any Digital Delay or Looper will capture and play back the Screaming Tasmanian Devil.
Wa-a-ay back, the band Timbuk 3 had a song titled "Sample The Dog", inspired in part by the wave of cheap samplers, like the famous (or infamous) Casio SK-1, and this commercial . . .

I loved T3 back in the day!
But I was thinking less of a straight sample, and more of something like the Miku. Except instead of a variety of phrases, it would apply that screaming rasp to the input like a fuzz/distortion pedal would.
Or maaaaybe a Tazzed up version of something like the Last Gasp Sandstorm:

Kerrang!: 'What made this album so brutal?'
Guitarist: 'Well, I split my signal. One side I kept clean but high-gain, the other channel, I put a Caterpillar fuzz into a Miku Stomp, which then went into a Rainbow Machine, a Spectre flanger and a looper. I"ve never gotten a heavier sound!'

It would be hilarious if that pedal was an utterly blistering fuzz housed in such a cutesy container.

We"re not that dissimilar. I"ll give most music a fair chance to win me over.
There"s a lot of music I KNOW that I"m not enthusiastic about. I respect them and can sing along with damn near any of their major songs- and some minor ones as well- but I own very little Beatles or Stones myself. Ditto The Who and The Doors.
Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple, OTOH, take up significant space on my CD racks.
-
To clarify, I meant I wasn"t as familiar with the ones you had just posited for addition to the list of 4. I"m a HUGE Cars fan, for instance.
I do know who Robertson is, but have never been a big fan of the recordings he"s on. As in, I may know and even sing along with them, but I have never sought them out for purchase. I"ve never considered them as 'favorites' of any kind.
The others I knew even less of. Zevon, Browne, Harris- all enjoyable, but I might inky know 1-2 songs with any level of familiarity.
-
Dharma and Harrison, without a doubt! The others, I"m not as familiar with. (I know! I know!)
-
I"d put both of them in the same category as Gilmour and Knopfler- guitarists who play what the song demands, not their ego.

Quick check-in: that Pliny dude can PLAY!

Thanks! I"ll check those out when I have a chance.

Any recommendations on Plini? DT lost me with their last one.

Speaking of classic great guitarists, I always wonder what it must have been like for the OTHER musicians in The Yardbirds. Not many can say they were in a band with the likes of Clapton, Beck, and Page. But still, how would it feel to see their accolades explode AFTER they left? It would be very easy to become bitter and frustrated.

Nice!
Spencer- assuming he"s the Dude on the left- played some chords with some serious stretches in there!
Roshan"s instrument has some studs along the fingerboard. Anyone know what that"s about?
