Krakit
8 tunes should be close to 40 minutes. That's not so bad, about how long a typical album is anyway. Right? Carl

These days, I think more of them are closer to 60-70 As I said in my first post, considering the amount of people who said that that they wanted to paticipate, the turnout is disappointing. IIRC, It looked like we were going to have more submissions than the disc space would allow. Right now, we're not even close to filling it up halfway. I'm not scheduled at Leo's for another two weeks. I'll be there 9/12 and 9/13. michael saulnier
Dave, In the early editions of the comp cd's you guys had posted mp3's of people's submissions... I remember it was originally so people could "vote" or whatever... But it was fun to listen in advance, and even see people react to comments and make changes and so on... Is there still a "post" area for the current, (6 and 7) comp material I don't know about? guitplayer I'm still "guitplayer"! Check out my music if you like... http://www.michaelsaulnier.com

Nope. Two things killed that: 1) mp3.com stopped letting people post as many songs as they wanted to for free, and 2) It was a pretty big chunk of of work for me to manage those sites. dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network

r33k
This thread has slipped off the first page, so I'll bump it to the top by announcing my submission to this edition of the Keyboard Corner Compilation CD. Michael Erwin - Piano Improv No. 1 (4:03) This is a solo, improvised piano piece that I recorded a few years ago. It's the only piece like this I've ever done, so I'm glad to have a reason to drag it out and share it with the forum. Dave, any more new submissions? What's the tally? HeatherMcVay
Michael when listening to your piece it makes me think of animals and people waking up in the morning starting ther day with the sunrising before all the stress hits the world. heather.
