Super 8
I caught a post by Ani over at HC where she says: "44617 registered members that may or may not migrate from the SSS forum over to here." Now I know it ain't going to be anything even close to that number. I've always thought of this place as a fairly small forum....maybe medium-sized. Does anybody know how many regulars we have? Can't be that many. How many people are we potentially going to see migrate over to HC? Super 8 Hear my stuff here

Gus Lozada
42 is the number of regulars at "Nuestro Foro" ... and we don't havea Wewus -well, he has visited us a couple of times- but we have a ViLo Músico, Productor, Ingeniero, Tecnólogo Senior Product Manager, América Latina y Caribe - PreSonus at Fender Musical Instruments Company Instagram: guslozada Facebook: Lozada - Música y Tecnología www.guslozada.com
Wewus432
I researched the directory once, and YES there are 40,000 plus registered members BUT over half of those are people who registered and never posted, 0 posts. Then there's 10,000 or so people who have 1 post, then.....thousands with 2 or 3 posts. The number I came up with of actual active members was about 2000, but check out the directory for yourself, there's nowhere near 40,000 people here, nowhere near that. Hey look, Phil passed my post count!
RABid
Here is a count of members with 1000 or more posts. 1K 299 members like to talk. 2.5K 127 members like to talk a lot. 5K 48 members have no life. (I'm in this group.) 10K 12 members like to talk a lot about having no life. edit - This is a duplicated count, meaning the 299 counted as 1K+ posts includes the members counted in the 2.5K, 5K, and 10K groups. Hanshananigan
I was thinking along the same lines, geekgurl, but then I realized that most my moderately-sized postcount are shite anyway so who cares? AudioMaverick
Yesterday, new user #44617 (Valerie) introduced herself in this thread -- Click Here . I'd think there are a number of users (or user numbers) that aren't in use any more. What would that be... 10%? Since the forums represent roughly 45% of the active posts (not posters) on these forums (I did the addition!), I would not think that even 45% of the user numbers are likely to move. Judging from the HC post counts, though, those of us who DO move over there will greatly increase the traffic there. As mentioned, before... It's the people more than the place. wraub
Count me in as current and regular, and likely to make the move. I have yet to register over there, yet. Still lurking and waiting... And trying to decide which email to sign up for to register at HC and then never use again. Thanks to the HC types for the welcome here. And Mr. The Wewus- Keep it up. Hilarious.
