Its a nice place really. www.myspace.com/yacababy

Sp3nc3r
Wow, oh wow Greenboy!! I wish I had that up the street from me!! Instead I have thousands of miles of stunning coastline...I'm more of a hiker than a sailor Cheers! Spencer "I prefer to beat my opponents the old-fashioned way....BRUTALLY!!!!" g.
I love coastline too. I've spent a lot of time camping hiking sailing or power yachting along Northern California and up past Vancouver Island. I've never been to your side, but I have always wanted to check it out. I'm always looking for movies filmed there and Novia Scotia and checking out National Geographic pictorals. Here\'s from a 16-mile hike nearby. EDIT: wow - jpeg mulching these type of detailed photos really hammers 'em bad. The originals are 2048x1536 (3+ megapixels) and killer Windows desktop replacement Directory Opus's viewer program automatically shrinks 'em to what will fit in correct aspect on my 1600x1200 screen. . g.
I've been to the Netherlands - that'll be printed on my memory probably forever - espeically the first morning after Schipol, waking up out in the country and opening the old home's shutters to tulips all around, a windmill neaby, and mists with the first rays of sun piercing through. BC indeed - Here\'s yesterday afternoon just before the sun dropped. .

halljams
Home, for me, when i found it, gave me the feeling that i had come full circle (i was 30ish). Life was ok, death was ok, my place in the universe was ok. I think there are many people in my life who are confused about where i live. Truly i can only feel sad for them, that is how much i love it. Now that i have found home, all I have to do is figure out constructive ways to spend my time and enjoy my life. Knowing my home and being here is the most comforting and satisfying thing i know. Having spoken with others on numerous occasions about the subject I feel incredibly lucky to have these feelings. Home is a day on the beach. Home is the cats nestled in my lap, all three of us dozing on the couch. Wewus432
So anyway I spent half of the last year traveling to other places, and it really made me appreciate my home, which is North Carolina. I love this place more than I ever knew. No matter where I go I'll always come back here. and that's all I can say right now, because it breaks me up so much. You never know what you've got, until you lose it.
g.
Tedster, wish I had more pics from a few years back. I got ripped off for almost everything I owned when I was closing on my current home. Had some great snowmobiling and backcountry skiing pics I took from around here. Here's a thread with some more of my (and others') pics: http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=5;t=010269 Eventually I'll just arrange this into some sort of a website with thumbnails. . Steve Force
Wewus, home is where you are most comfortable. For many, many years (while travelling/moving extensively--internationally and within the US of A) home was in the house I was born in (and where my parents still live). After marrying my wonderful wife Karen, Home is where she is/we are. 'nuf said. g.
I like it just about everywhere. And I got ripped off for almost everything I had and no insurance covered (long story). So home is simply where I have a few things that I enjoy - a base for operations. IT could be in my van or from my backpack even - until I miss electric bass that is. I could live about anywhere that I wouldn't be unduly persecuted and probably enjoy both the culture and the countryside, if my past travels are any indication. . You're My Home - Billy Joel (great version on Song In The Attic) When you look into my eyes, And you see the crazy gypsy in my soul. It always comes as a surprise, When I feel my withered roots begin to grow. Well I never had a place that I could call my very own. But that's alright my love, cause you're my home. When you touch my weary head, And you tell me everything's gonna be alright. You say, "Use my body for your bed, And my love will keep you warm throughout the night." Well I'll never be a stranger and I'll never be alone. Whereever we're together that's my home. Home can be the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Indiana's early mornin' too. Oh... High up in the hills of Californ-ay. Home is just another word for you.... Well I never had a place that I could call my very own, That's alright my love, 'cause your my home If I travel all my life, and I never get to stop and settle down. Long as I have you by my side, oh.. There's a roof above and good walls all around. You're my castle you're my cabin and my instant pleasure dome, I need you in my house, 'cause you're my home.
