BluMunk
Really some great playing by both. The music in The Muppet Movie (and subsequent films) is masterful, and catches an enviable vibe.

Josh Paxton
Something I posted to Facebook a couple years ago: MUPPET WISDOM FOR PIANO AND KEYBOARD PLAYERS Inside you there are two Muppets. One of them is a friendly dog. He brings a positive attitude, keeps his head down, and provides the best possible musical support for whoever is in the spotlight. He does this without drawing undue attention to himself or being distracted by the chaos around him. Then he goes home, takes himself for a walk, and goes to bed. The other is a flamboyant, orange-haired, green-skinned freak. He shows up in a top hat and cape, ready to boogie down. Together with the animal behind the drums, the cool chick on the guitar, and the crazy pyro guy, he knows exactly how to crank up the voltage and bring the party to a state of full Electric Mayhem. As a keyboardist, your musical life is largely a balancing act between your inner Rowlf the Dog and your inner Dr. Teeth. Embrace and nurture them both. Learning how and when to call on each of them will be one of your greatest assets. Sometimes you'll need to be one or the other, and often you’ll need to be a little of both. Sometimes you’ll show up expecting to be one, but it turns out you need to be the other, so it’s good to know how to switch between them. And sometimes you won’t know what to expect, so you’ll have to show up with one on each shoulder, ready to listen to whichever one whispers in your ear at any given moment. Be true to your inner Muppets. This is the way. 2 1 3

David Emm
The musicianship behind all of the Muppet music is off the charts and always was. Some of their "kid" songs had a darker side, if you just turned them 30 degrees. This is still one of my all-time favorites. There are days when I can really relate! 2 Quote An evangelist came to town who was so good, even Huck Finn was saved until Tuesday. ~ "Tom Sawyer"
