Ivan May
Michael Rhodes was an excellent bass player, having worked on a lot of great country albums in the Eighties and Nineties. I have several albums and CDs with his name in the credits. RIP Michael Rhodes, you were an awesome bass player.

synthdogg
I was lucky enough to do a few sessions with Michael. What a warm and wonderful human being, I loved being around him. Yeah, he was a musical monster and an inspiration to be around as a musician, but I'll really cherish the conversations with him. Really saddened by the news this weekend. skipeb3
Sorry to hear about Michael's passing. I only got to work one session with him, but I could tell right off that he was the real deal. I feel for your loss, Steve. The older we get, old friends take on a whole new meaning and importance. My condolences to you, his family, and the family of friends and players that got to share quality time with him.
