Piktor
Apparently Peterson was a bit of a gear hound. I don't see any of the analogue synths that he had, but I do see the following items that he owned and used: Korg OASYS, Triton rack, Kurtz K2600 rack, road cases, couple microphones, etc. http://stores.ebay.ca/oscar-peterson-auction
The Real MC
Those auctions aren't even a drop in the bucket to what Oscar had.
rod76
I wonder what ever happened to his non-clear Gleeman Pentaphonic.
ElmerJFudd
I'd love the, "Oscar Peterson's Owned and Used Anvil Cases Road Case for Studio Equipment." How cool would that be? Bad timing for me though. Can't justify. http://www.auctionjam.com/oscarpeterson/itempics/Road_Case_1_1.jpg http://www.auctionjam.com/oscarpeterson/itempics/Road_Case_1_2.jpg Masterful... Synthaholic
The Triton Rack, including rack, is currently $350 w/shipping. That seems like a really good deal, no? The fact there's a Highway To Hell and only a Stairway To Heaven says a lot about anticipated traffic numbers People only say "It's a free country" when they're doing something shitty-Demetri Martin
davyyd
Benny Green tells a story this thread reminded me of. When drum machines were first coming out, someone loaned one to Oscar Peterson. After having it for a while, the person asked if he liked it. "It's OK, but it drags a bit" was OP's reply. It was funnier when Green told the story
