  1. Have it, love it! I've had mine for a long time. I have the second tier arms which I use when I take two keyboards out. Rock solid, weighs nothing, sets up in 5 seconds. I wouldn't use anything else.
  2. Levy's 61 note case fits my Numa X 73 perfectly.
  3. So, the beauty of the XR12 for me is that it is my stereo D.I. for FOH plus I can set up levels for my various keyboards in my studio at home. I have labels on the XR inputs for each of the keyboards I might choose to use on the gig and then just plug in what I bring. I almost never have to tweak the mixer at the gig. It sits on the floor next to my keyboard stand and works flawlessly. I have made up a power snake that has one male plug that feeds many lines with both types of power connectors that my keyboards and amps use. I can literally set my rig up in about 5 minutes.
  4. The APs in the Numa Player are not the same as the Numa X but they're very good.
  5. Loving my Numa X 73 - haven't tried the onboard mixer yet but it's a great feature.
  6. The YC is great for that but in my case I use my stage amp system for vocal monitor as well. The XR12 not only allows for mixing and EQ but provides stereo balanced XLR feeds to FOH. It is an extra piece but no D.I. boxes required. I play and monitor in stereo and send a stereo feed to FOH when possible. I have found that sound engineers appreciate that there is no need to provide me a vocal monitor, just XLR outs and in from the board. The XR 12 is small and fits in my gig suitcase.
  7. XR12. Replaced my Key Largo because it allowed me to mix monitor feed in with my keyboard rig. Extremely flexible and small.
  8. Whenever this comes up in a band that I play in I tell the guitar player to cover the horn parts. Come to think of it I've been doing this so long that they all know better than to ask......
  9. If it's still jumping, you might want to try spraying the FC7 pot with some De-Ox-Id.
  10. Take a look at the Studiologic Numa X 73. It checks all of the boxes except internal power supply. 25 lb. and the TP110 action is really good.
  11. I had this issue as well but after discussing with Gianni at Studiologic I now know that you need to press and hold for a second. Works every time for me.
  12. I have an XR18 in my studio and an XR12 for live performance. Both are great. Highly recommended.
  13. K&M 18880 and stacker for me. Lightweight, strong, easy to set up / tear down, no incidents in 10 years. Best I've used. I have an Invisible stand in my studio but it doesn't allow my keyboards to get as close as the K&M.
  14. All of the Nord Stage 88s have the TP-40 action. My Nord Stage EX has the TP-40 but my Stage 2 EX has the TP-100. In my opinion the TP-40 is best, followed by TP-110 ( Numa X ) and then TP 100.
  15. Which Nord do you have? have a TP40 Stage and a TP100 Stage. The Numa is great compared to both.
  16. I have to say that Chris' comments pretty much echo my feelings about my new Numa X 73. I have a couple of gigs under my belt and it was a joy to use on stage . The USB implementation is brilliant and I'm finally confident to use my iPad in my rig. It's a keeper for sure. I've had a few excellent interactions with Gianni at Studiologic and he is quick to help and promises more development in time.....
  17. I now have a Numa X 73 with the updated firmware and I must say, I really enjoy playing on the TP110. The sounds are great and I'm guessing there will be many more improvements to come including more sounds. It's a keeper!!
  18. I just have to say that the TP100 action on the Seven feels and responds exactly how I want it to. I gigged with a Rhodes Stage 73 for decades and the Seven seems just right to me. I also like the new acoustic samples with that keybed. It may be that I'm conditioned because I have a Nord Stage 2 EX 76, which also has the TP100. In any case I personally would not rule anything out just because it has the TP100. Just my 0.02 CAD.
  19. You don't see many Italian sportscars on the road either. Plenty of Fords and Chevys. I own three Nords, a Yamaha and currently two Crumars. I have gigged with all of them for years and nothing comes closer to playing a real Rhodes than the Seven, not to mention the beautiful new acoustic pianos, also nothing is more satisfying to play in a Hammond clone than my Mojo 61. Except, of course, my B3/Leslie. These instruments are not for everyone but those who try them tend to stick with them. I am often surprised by what Guido and Andrea come up with but I have never been disappointed. I'm personally glad to have so many choices. I'm excited to see what the new Seventeen offers, but if it's not something I want then I will pass. Chances are good it will be something I want.
