  1. Just bought a near perfect Leslie 145 and preamp pedal, completely stock. It is the nicest table in my studio and sounds fantastic with my Mojo 61 with lower manual.
  2. I use my Mojo61 with internal sim and I don't miss my Ventilator.
  3. I think the Numa X Piano is a great compliment to an organ rig. It has 73 full size keys but fits in most 61 note keyboard bags. Very nice for pianos and synths and superb iPad integration if you need more.
  4. I was just about to suggest this. I have used mine for years and every gig I kick the legs out and the stand is very stable.
  5. After playing Nords for years I bought a YC73. I liked a lot about it and even the keybed was OK to me but the acoustic pianos always sounded very compressed . I tried everything, even changing my amps but I finally traded it in on a new Nord Stage 3 and the pianos are great again.
  6. No programming necessary if you use it with Mojo or BX3 or VB3M.
  7. I bought the kit and really enjoyed building it. The instructions were clear and the finished product is excellent!!
  8. It's about the only thing that disappoints me on my Numa X Piano. I did buy a spare supply with an IEC connector and a robust DC cable which I shortened and on which I installed an angle plug. It is permanently velcroed onto the rear of the Numa X and fits into my soft case so it is virtually an internal supply. I've had a Mojo 61 for years and I installed its power supply internally a long time ago. The latest version of the Mojo61 now comes with an internal supply.
  9. USB is only 5V and limited current. Not enough power for most keyboards.
  10. I guess a lot of the pros are boomers......
  11. The Numa X is a great controller keyboard as long as you're not looking for drawbars.
  12. I really like the braided type of wire loom. Expands and contracts to fit whatever is inside.
  13. I tried to love the YC73, great size, good organ, usable synth sounds, but I couldn't live with the compressed acoustic pianos after playing the Nord for years. Traded the YC73 on a new Nord 3 and I'm happy.
  14. I just want them to make the pedal noise adjustment universal. Sigh......
  15. The preamp is definitely available and DR88s, PM me and we'll chat.
  16. I bought it new and I really love everything about it - brilliant USB integration, onboard mixer, TP110, aftertouch, etc. but since I bought my Nord Stage I'm just not using it any more. Am I crazy?
  17. Thanks to DaBous I have another set on the way. Thanks for everyone's feedback. Ken
  18. OK, this is great news! I'll resume my search. Ken
  19. Still have my invisible bag! Still a great stand but lately I've been using a K&M 18880 with 2nd tier. Even faster setup and lighter. Never gonna sell the Invisible.
  20. I think the Seventeen is the best for Rhodes. I don't think either are stellar for Wurlie. I like the new CFX acoustic sample for the Seventeen and in fact I bought the inexpensive Just Piano app for my ipad and I can play the CFX from the Numa easily. The USB implementation on the Numa is fantastic so if you plan to use an ipad onstage it works flawlessly with the Numa. There is much more real time control available on the Numa. With the Seventeen you pretty much have to make your edits at home and save them to presets for gigging. I tend to leave my Seventeen in the studio for recording and rehearsals and I gig with the Numa and ipad. Although now that I have a Stage 3 everything changes again. I still like the Nord acoustic pianos best. Ken
  21. I' ve just been reading that the Nord Stage 3 isn't very compatible with the Ocean Beach drawbars so maybe I'll just get used to the draw buttons again. Sigh......
  22. I have a Seventeen and a Numa X 73. Love them both and I have received great support from both companies. The Numa is much more flexible and powerful but if you're looking for a vintage type vibe and your focus is AP/EP the Seventeen is a great choice.
  23. Scott, I'd love to buy yours if I can talk you out of them. And Dave I would trade the Speakeasy preamp in a heartbeat. I have a D9X and it's great but I need 5piin DIN for the Nord and MIDI power. Thanks for the responses!
