Still Learning
I will stick with my strategy of last year and choose the home team with the greatest point spread that I haven't yet picked. That results in a New England Pats pick for me in week one. (interesting that this was also my week one pick last year which got me thru the famous 2005 NFL Week One Carnage When most people go to work, they work. When musicians go to work, they play. Which do you prefer?
Dave Bryce
Alrighty then... So, with a bunch of picks drifting towards NE and AZ, we could have another mass exodus or two in Week One. We'll see soon enough... dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network

daBowsa
Yes, the Arizona pick is smelling like carnage...I may have to reconsider. Silver, I believe the ruling on a tie is, since you're required to pick a winner, and you didn't, you're eliminated.

Harvey K
Glad I logged on today -- wouldn't want to miss out on this. (We just held our fantasy football draft last night.) Okay, I'd like to survive at least one week, so I'll go with the PHILADELPHIA EAGLES to rout the lowly Texans.

Still Learning
Hey dB, 'just wanted to say thanks for all your work on the pool and the forum. I ran a football pool at a Woodland Hills company I used to work at and it was a lot of extra work (on top of an already full schedule) Anyways, thanks.... now back to your regularly scheduled program..... Dave Pierce
Sigh. Everything's such a question mark in Week One, isn't it? My pick: New England. Magpel
Oh great, now I'm on thew big NE titanic. Remember a few years ago when Miami--conisdered a league favorite that year--lost to the Texans at home in week 1? Was that the Texans' first game ever? It destroyed the pool, me included. You're tense about yer pick tonight? Can't understand why...I mean, it's not like you picked against the defending Super Bowl champ playing at home or anything... Yeah, I know...no Big Ben, Daunte Culpepper's first game, etc. Juuuust teasing ya... dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network
