Also, games between rivalries are among the most unpredictable. I took Chicago in the pick 'em pool, but I wouldn't be shocked if Green Bay won. Mr. Nightime
Hey, do I get a prize for being the first to be eliminated? I thought the Fish had a chance until the bad call on the long touchdown, and the coach not getting the ref's attention for the challenge. Sure, that would have given the Steelers the ball on the 1, and they probably would have scored, but that seems to take the fight out of the Fish. Then the two blaring mistakes by Culpepper resulting in interceptions. All in all, a fair game, though a bit sloppy on both sides of the ball. I'll watch everyone else with interest to see who wins. Both games could have gone either way. It's funny, a few days ago I was stopped at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Detroit waiting for the light to change. I looked up and saw a billboard that read, "This year, the odds are even." Even though the subject wasn't about the game, I decided to take it as a sign (double meaning intended) the billboard was planted right behind the Detroit street sign. Hello? All I did was tell you why I chose Cincinnati - because it doesn't make any diference who you save if you don't make it out of Week One, and if there was ever a time to use a top pick, Week One was it. I stand by that point of view. I can't help that the team you chose as a top pick got beat (at home!)...I don't think anyone could've seen that one coming. dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network
