Griffinator
Well, with Finneran back in the lineup, suddenly Bunny's looking like the most likely casualty this week. Nah. Vick's still out. Rams are at home. I think I'm OK. We'll see Monday... I did consider picking the Ravens, though, just for kicks. No way I was gonna touch the Titans game, with so many other poolers picking Tennessee. Gotta keep things exciting, y'know? [edit] Well, it looks like the Tennessee Troup will advance to the next round. I just keep an ESPN ticker going; I'm cleaning out the garge this weekend; doing d TLC channel "Clean Sweep" level purge; I actually had a big dumpster dropped in the driveway for the weekend!!! Ouizel
Ok, I guess it's my turn. I'm gonna go with Seattle for week 7. **Standard Disclaimer** Ya gotta watch da Ouizel, as he often posts complete and utter BS. In this case however, He just might be right. Jeff Klopmeyer
Week seven. Hmmm...I think I have a plan here for the next few crucial weeks of the pool. Or I'll just wing it. Either way: Jeff's Week Seven Pick: The Dallas Cowboys. Pim
Don't want to unterrupt your talks, but I have a question. Do you guys ever watch the American Football games played in Europe? I mean Frankfurt Reinfire, Amsterdam Admirals, Barcelona Dragons etc. Thanks! My Music I always wondered what happened after the fade out?

The point of NFL Europe was to expand their market without cannibalizing the current audience, so it's unlikely we'll ever have any direct promotion of Europe games here in the US. - Jeff Marketing Communications for MI/Pro Audio My solo music and stuff They Stole My Crayon
Mark Zeger
Those NFL Europe games are unsellable, too. When I sold airtime at a Fox station, local commercials in those games were largely given away. From the rare shots of the stands, it appears that the games aren't popular in Europe, either. Is that right, Pim?
flyscots
No Mark, its like the MLS here. A 30,000 crowd is very good, but in a 70,000 seat stadium it looks really bad. NFL Europe has it's fans, but most American Football fans in Europe will watch the real NFL games on TV rather than pay big money to see average performers. Just like the soccer fans who'll watch the European games but wont go to an MLS game. Anyway, back to the Survival game. Congratulations to the consistently correct remaining five. Is that right, Pim?Popularity is increasing but very very slow. What's the fun of a game when you have to watch second and third rank players with one or two local players? The reason I asked this question is the fact that the Amsterdam Admirals are asking financial support from the community. The Admirals say their games are a promotion for Amsterdam in the U.S.A. It seems they over estimate the air-play they get... My Music I always wondered what happened after the fade out?
The Thrashole
We get some games on TV here. It just runs in the summer so I don't catch many. I think it is a great place to try out new rules like 4 points for field goals over 50yards. Reach out and grab a clue. Jeff Klopmeyer
Dave, what the longest this pool has gone in your recollection? Since I've known you, I remember the year that John Sarappo and Dave Seaton went to week 11 or 12. Griffinator
C'mon, Phil. Seattle is the easiest pick this week. Up against a hapless Bears team whose only victory came against an equally hapless Faiders team. Plus you've got Anthony Thomas out of the game, Chris "couldn't outrun a sloth" Chandler in the QB spot, with Marty Booker at 60% - hell, I'd be jumping on that bandwagon right now myself. Jeff Klopmeyer
Llarion, sorry the Cleveland gamble didn't work out.
