FORUM CD: The tune tracking thread

For those of you who are going to send me a hard copy of your tunes for the comp CD - I would greatly appreciate it if you do me a favor, and toss a post up after you've dropped your tune in the mail. I will post a confirmation when your tune has arrived.

I believe that this will make it easier for us to keep an eye on this aspect of this project.

Thanks!

P.S. I wish I could think of a good, humorous penalty for being the last submission received...I was going to say that whoever is last becomes the last song on disc II, but I really like Pim's tune as the finale...

...anybody got any ideas? http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/wink.gifhttp://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Did I miss the elimination rounds, or a mention of the alternate plan?

Dave,

It seems like I'm the first one who have sent the CD to you.

Is it a price for that?

Sent off the CD and 20 bucks cash (plenty of US dollars at the change places, it's them tourists.....) "Priority" today.

7-10 days from previous experience.

A Balkan percussionist is coming over tomorrow to lay down some tracks for the tune, but it seems best to send the version that's up at the Keyboard Korner site.

Hey Dave,

I'll send you my CD copy this coming week. It's been crazy around here, my new son Julian was born this Tuesday July 10th. 8lbs 8oz, 20 in. Just came home from the hospital Thursday and is doing great.

Anyway, I'll try and send that off at the beginning of the week.

  • 2 weeks later...
I just put mine in the mail. I'm not sure how this works but airmail from here will take 7-8 days. If I sent it regular mail, I wonder if you'd get it in our lifetime.

Hmm, I wonder if my CD have arrived??

It's two weeks ago that I sent it.

I know it's snail mail, but two weeks, geez!!

Perhaps Dave is occupied with other stuff? (NAMM)

Hi Dave, my CD is ready...I'm waiting to receive the Cases (should only be a couple of days since they're shipping from Ontario, CA). I can either drop both in the mail to you or we can meet somewhere...just drop me an email or whatever http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif

Mail it to :

David Bryce

PMB 669

2060-D Avenida de Los Arboles

Thousand Oaks, CA, 91362-1361

Please be sure to include the address to which you want your copies of the CD to be mailed, and $20 to cover manufacturing, shipping and handling costs. Any cash left over will be donated to a nice charity, probably Save the Music.

Yeah, lotta notes.......sounded better through the cheap imac speakers than the hi-fi......was that a lo-fi play? Check out Al Dimeola if you like that style.....he sort of coined that fusion guitar thing in the late seventies..
