I think that's a fair amount of time, especially when added to the few weeks since I posted my address. If all of them aren't in by then, perhaps we'll just revert to doing a single CD

Steve LeBlanc has come up with a better plan, which I believe that I will implement.. If I don't have all of the full versions of all of the tunes by August 15th, I will use the MP3 versions of the tunes that I don't have to complete the double CD.

The uncompressed versions sound so much nicer...

I've heard from everyone but Per and Arseny - whassup, boys?

Dave, mine shipped on Monday. I think it should be there soon. Damn, though, if you haven't received it by the 14th, please say so! I will overnight it, 'cause there ain't no way the mp3 version is going on this CD!!!

Dave:

I am sorry for the tardiness. Been out of town on business and when in town I've been busy with family (wife due any day now) which is why you guys haven't seen me posting. I let things slip a little.

I mailed the cd to you today Dave. You should get it in the next 5 days. If you don't I'll fedex it.

Regards,

Jerry

Hi Dave, Midnight here. http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif (Actually, it's six o'clock in the morning, just come back home from a concert)

My payment is still missing??!? http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/mad.gif Hell, I sent an international money order for $20 the very same day I sent you the CD! I sent it at the same address, and I gave them the damn money, plus a lot more in taxes. Maybe it's just slow, but I'm worried; Italy has a really shitty postal service. I'd be very grateful if you'd take the time to post a line when it arrives. If the delay becomes too long I'll send it again... http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/mad.gif

Hi Dave...

Finally my CD is on its way from Torreon Coahuila, Mexico to California.

The UPS tracking number is:

1Z 045 669 66 41 52 15 89

The package includes the full CD of my band (track 7 is the one for the compilation), a nice 20 USD bill and the ship to address.

Thank you Sir!!!

Is this information correct, Dave?

I don't have them anymore. AOL discards old mail.

I put up a series of notifications to them both - that's about as much as my schedule permits. I see Per posting here and there, so I don't know why he hasn't responded. Arseny has been MIA for a while.

Not really a lot that I can do....it seems as though they're doomed to inhabit the CD as MP3 files. I suppose that it's better than being omitted.

Dave, can't you unencode them with a software. I've done this with MP3's before, turned them into audio CD format & burned them to a CD that plays normally.

I have already done exactly that - that's the point. My comment was meant to refer to the fact that the uncompressed versions of their tunes would sound better. I didn't mean to indicate that I was gonna omit them or anything...

Okay, today's take included CDs from Phil Traynor, Pim Schilperoort, and Mike Martin. Except for Per and Arseny, those are the last three. We have two complete sets.

However, none of the three discs that came in today included the $$. Phil has already said that his is coming separately. I'd really appreciate it if the rest of you could get me your $$ as soon as you can, okay? same for anyone who did not submit a tune, but wants a copy of the disc. Thanks!

Also, per steadyb's request, his tune "On The Skidz" has been moved to the last one on disc 1. This is good, because it appears as two files (don't ask), so it would throw off the numbering of the CD otherwise...

Final Status:

VOLUME I

1) Balthazar - in

2) AfterShock - in

3) Angel of the Odd - in

4) Notes -in

5) Xample -in

6) Highway -no word from Arseny , MP3 file converted to audio

7) The Light Of Valhalla - in

8) Fugue in AM (Prophet Fugue) - in

9) The Isles Shall Wait - in

10) Kellys Garden - in

11) July 4th - in

12) Identity Crisis - in

13) On The Skidz - in

VOLUME II

1) Ive Seen the Future - in

2) Seven Corners - in

3) Starstruck - no word from Per, MP3 file converted to audio

4) Its Over - in

5) Issimo - in

6) Mountains of Love - in

7) Standing in the Rain - in

8) The Blue Light is Back - in

9) Swept Away - in

10) On a Tangent - in

11) Right Here Somehow - in

12) Waves and Particles - in

13) A Long Way From Home - in

Payment missing from Stefan Weibel, Pim, Phil Traynor and Mike Martin. No CDs will be sent to anyone who has not submitted their $$.

I will have some more news on Friday regarding an ETA - I will also try and master both volumes over the weekend.

They sound great, y'all...you'll dig 'em.
