Al Quinn
Didn't have the time to post a lot in the last couple of months but I'll try to change that. Here's a B3 solo I played during a very funky gig with the great Philip Lassiter (trumpeter for Prince, Snarky Puppy, Jill Scott...) in Germany. Let me know what you think! [video:youtube] Excellent! Resolution 88
Hi there - I've got a new EP out with my jazz funk band; if you like the Fender Rhodes and Herbie Hancock's 70's output then you'll probably be into what we've done It's available digital-only - iTunes, Amazon and Google Play links are available from the video (on laptops and computers) or in the comments. Thanks, Tom [video:youtube] Hello, I'm brand new to this forum and this is my first post. I checked out your album and watched a few videos on YouTube. Awesome work. I'm also hearing shades of John Scofield in the music, albeit not on the guitar, but rather in the groove. I bought your latest album on iTunes. Nice job! -Kevin Kevin - a belated welcome to the forum - I've only just seen this. I'm honoured that your first post was about Resolution 88 and I'm glad you like our music. Many thanks! ksoper
Here's God Eye, an exploration of text-to-speech dadaism. Electronic noises from the Moog Werkstatt and Voyager, Korg littleBits, and Omnisphere 2. Text-to-speech by Oddcast.com. Loop by Billy Martin, illy B Eats Vol 2. Despite the title, there's nothing theological happening here. Scatalogical, maybe. God Eye
Lindaru
Wow! I loved that! I am following you now, Ken. I use the male voice "Mike" from Text To Speech Pro 3 to occasionally do voice on music or be an active "A.I." in our radio shows. I will have to check out oddcast.com as it sounds like you get a variety there. Mike can always use some friends.

Justin Havu
Well done Justin. That was great. At times I thought i was listening to Toto. Thanks, and kudos for picking up on my main influence in music! Toto is definitely my all-time favorite band. The writing, the musicianship, the production, it's just perfect. DanL
Here's the video demo for my Pink Floyd tribute band "Echoes". We did 8 cameras and 32 track digital audio. Our drummer and bassist mixed the audio and our guitar player worked with a girl he knows to do all the video editing. We have a full length concert dvd as well, but this is what we're going to shop to get gigs. (how do you embed the video like some others have done?) poserp
Intro, so titled because it's the music for the trailer in my head for a scifi story that pretty much took over my brain one morning: What you're "seeing" is essentially a fade-in of a ground-perspective shot, steam and smoke rising from the ground and the feet of a person painted completely in a reflective coating. As the camera rises from the ground and rotates to film what's happening on the ground, you see that this person is holding a bundle with both hands and getting ready to jump into a volcano... There's more, but I'll leave it at that for now. Everything except the bass is custom PC3 programming. Thanks! I don't know what the story will end up being (I'm hoping at least some sort of concept album and art, but doing this will take quite some time as I'm a lone gunman with no budget for studio time), but it'd be cool to see it fleshed out and actually be something besides a bunch of semi-interesting ideas (from a historical perspective...). Doug Robinson
This is from my concert two nights ago at Bellas Artes, the official Mexican arts association, in a nearly full 200 seat auditorium. It isn't pro video--I'm waiting to see the pro footage, but this was shot by my soon to be father in law from the front row. You'll hear the tail end of Alone/Together in 7/4, with guitarist and musical soul mate ken Basman, followed by our version of turkey in the Straw, and then after a short speech by yours truly, my new arrangement of Moon River. it's 10 minutes long, but if you like jazz and improvised music and chubby bald guys, you'll like this. I loved it! Your "Moon River" was very relaxing and I recommend after a rough day that people should listen to your version of this song. Also, as far as "chubby bald guys" go, you just described our band (me the exception).
