We registered our name in www.bandname.com (not that it's really official) and there is a Loaded from Crewe, VA and we are the Reston, VA. Could it be the Crewe one? If it is, we registered on 1/15/2001 and they registered on 2/1/2002 so as far as VA goes, we were here first. flyscots
I'm so sorry SOMA, never mind not making the deadline, it's taken me 6 weeks from the deadline to actually get a proper listen to your songs (thanks to either not having internet access or just having dial-up) THEY SOUND REALLY EXCELLENT!!! Congratulations! Very well engineered, very full & clear sounding, except Anifa's sibilance, sounds a little odd. Great instrumentation. Wow. Good on ya for putting out two very different tunes. I love all the 'extra' sounds - by that I mean not just guitars drums & bass. The backwards guitar & the flute sound wonderful, as do the percussion & backing vocals. Anifa, the webpages look great. Now I mean no offense whatsoever with the following comment - in Howl At The Moon you sound much younger than you are. I have the utmost respect for the professionalism you (SOMA) have achieved, including meeting the deadline. Well done John Scot
DanS
Thanks Fly. Ani was watching a lot of SpongeBob during the making of HATM, so that would account for her youthful persona. Anifa
Ani was watching a lot of SpongeBob during the making of HATM, At the risk of sounding naive or dumb, may I ask what SpongeBob is or who he is??? flyscots
Nursers and all... Do you think it would be a good idea to have a thread like this containing all the completed songs that were spawned on the Collaboration Corner and attemp to keep it on the first page for everyone to listen? Just a thought

This forum is one of my favorites... I always check it out and surf around looking for the new and previous collaborations. A dedicated thread (or website) with links to the completed songs would be very helpful! Ciao! ani
I had a thread going where I was keeping the completed songs in the first post of the thread, but when I lost access to my other ID and profile, I haven't been able to reopen the thread to edit it. It's a good idea to start a new one.
PBBPaul
I think I'm about to give up trying to tweak the second of our tunes and make it any worse than I already have. Is there some communal place to post mp3s for opinions? I don't have enough space on my little site.
